12oz bottle in Seattle. Juicy hop aroma, Hazed brown. Smoky-malt backbone, warm brown ale with clean sweet pine hops. Juicy body with bittering finish. Pretty standard but nice.

Pours a gold/honey color with decent lacing and minimal head retention. Tastes slightly bitter and malty. Mild hops and a solid beer.

i get more pine than citrus in this one, though both are present. i was a little alarmed at the low abv, but it turns out it doesnít matter. the beer seems at least relatively fresh, and has quite a bit of flavor...pine, oak, quite malty too with some honey-esque sweetness. aroma tends a little malt heavy for an ipa imo, but it still works. a pleasant all around beer, well balanced."

well well well. Another that people donít give itís due. Well fuck all of you!!! Please forgive me for that. But a 77 rating pissed me off. This beer is a thing of beauty, a masterpiece! So rich and complex. A true sipper.

12oz bottle, from Brennanís in Madison. Picked up during my stay for GTMW. Lot # on bottle reads 8140602. Mostly hazy orange color. Pours with a finger of off-white / khaki head. Leaves good rows of lace. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of creamy light carbonation. Light slick finish. Nice texture to it, and more full-bodied than expected for a lighter IPA. Good mild orange citrus hop aroma, light pine, resin and spice. Kind of a woodsy flavor profile to it, lightly herbal, which I dig. Light caramel malt. Moderate plus bitter taste, moderate sweet. Great, balanced lighter but full-flavored IPA. Nice complex unique direction they took with the flavor, and it works.

Bottle - A thick head, amber color. Hop flavor all around this one. While it does have a good strong hop flavor, I wouldnít call it very strong. Not a beer I could drink a lot of but certainly a good change of pace. Got it in a large format bottle so it was perfect for sharing with my wife.

Clear copper golden under a generous foamy off-cream head. Fruity nose with little grapefruit zest and clementine but with a earthy leafy resin and earthy biscuity caramel. The flavor is nutty sweet with a nougaty earthy caramel tone followed with a little earthy hop bitterness, a touch of bittersweet grapefruit zest and a light floral finish. Pretty lovely and malty sweet.

On tap at the Bitter Tasting Room, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma reveals notes herbal hops, some skunky notes, and grass. Flavour is a bit muffled, with notes of herbal, grassy notes, and light sweet malt. Pretty bland IPA with some slight off-notes. Not a very good IPA.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2014 12 ounce bottle pours a Cloudy light orange copper color with a off-white head that dissipates quickly. Mild to moderate pop aroma of pine and citrus. A bit more malty then most IPAs a smooth hoppy bitterness from start to finish with a bit of a harsh bitter aftertaste. A nice full-bodied IPA
