AdamGott (167), Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA May 29, 2008 malty graoefruit hop aroma with a hint of nuts - cloudy golden amber pour - extremely bitter but the fruity hops and malt come through in the aftertaste followed by a lingering bitterness
dwyerpg (2143), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Oct 23, 2008 Looks great. Dark orange; full head. This is pretty nice. Light up front. A good dry hoppy finish. I bit low in the alcohol for an IPA but decent stuff. lb4lb (1546), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 6, 2008 Bottle in trade from thethrone. Thanks man!<br />
Pours a nice dark amber color with beige head. Smell is very subtle with some light faded malt and hops aroma and a bit of an herbal smell. Not very fresh or vibrant, though. Taste is earthy, dusty and moderately hoppy with some malt and herbs. Bit more carbonated than I prefer, and a medium body otherwise. Not terrible, but not something I’d reach for again. DoesB4Bros (2), Oak Harbor, Washington, USA does not count Sep 12, 2008 Everett brewed. Had a decent aroma. Citrus notes and aromas. Flavor was good. Not too much carbination. Great local beer I would buy again. Skyview (3061), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Sep 2, 2008 On draught at the brewpub in Everett, Washington. Pours a semi-clear golden amber brew with a creamy off-white head that has excellent retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus zest, grapefruit, pine, some caramel and crystal malts and a touch of earthy herbs. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation along with grapefruit, citrus zest, some lemon and light caramel malt. Finish has a short lived mild bitterness that quickly changes to a dry leafy aftertaste. matt7215 (628), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Aug 24, 2008 12 oz bottle from a trade with SuzyGreenburg. pours deep orange with a big rocky beige head. perfect IPA look. aromas of minimal grapefruit hops. flavours are IPA but small. not enough hops are malts. nice session IPA at 5.25% but nothing to seek out. thx for the bottle ben!
