Many people enjoy this IPA because of its bold hop aroma and flavor while it still finishes clean. It’s a great companion with a meal or a bull session with friends. It is unfiltered and dry-hopped to give you the full blast of the Gale Force. Hops: UK East Kent Goldings, Cascade and Columbus.

Pours a nice amber orange with thin white head. Aroma of citrus hops ever so slight, but dulled compared to other non-floral hops. Flavor at first was extremely different for an IPA, but came back somewhat, but defniitely has it’s own character in the IPA world.

12oz bottle, from Brennan’s in Madison. Picked up during my stay for GTMW. Lot # on bottle reads 8140602. Mostly hazy orange color. Pours with a finger of off-white / khaki head. Leaves good rows of lace. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of creamy light carbonation. Light slick finish. Nice texture to it, and more full-bodied than expected for a lighter IPA. Good mild orange citrus hop aroma, light pine, resin and spice. Kind of a woodsy flavor profile to it, lightly herbal, which I dig. Light caramel malt. Moderate plus bitter taste, moderate sweet. Great, balanced lighter but full-flavored IPA. Nice complex unique direction they took with the flavor, and it works.

Bottle - A thick head, amber color. Hop flavor all around this one. While it does have a good strong hop flavor, I wouldn’t call it very strong. Not a beer I could drink a lot of but certainly a good change of pace. Got it in a large format bottle so it was perfect for sharing with my wife.

Clear copper golden under a generous foamy off-cream head. Fruity nose with little grapefruit zest and clementine but with a earthy leafy resin and earthy biscuity caramel. The flavor is nutty sweet with a nougaty earthy caramel tone followed with a little earthy hop bitterness, a touch of bittersweet grapefruit zest and a light floral finish. Pretty lovely and malty sweet.

On tap at the Bitter Tasting Room, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma reveals notes herbal hops, some skunky notes, and grass. Flavour is a bit muffled, with notes of herbal, grassy notes, and light sweet malt. Pretty bland IPA with some slight off-notes. Not a very good IPA.

12 ounce bottle pours a Cloudy light orange copper color with a off-white head that dissipates quickly. Mild to moderate pop aroma of pine and citrus. A bit more malty then most IPAs a smooth hoppy bitterness from start to finish with a bit of a harsh bitter aftertaste. A nice full-bodied IPA

Bomber. Mostly clear orange brown, off-white creamier foam head settles and breaks. Grassy citrus hop aroma. Firm caramel malts, resiny piney earthy citrus hop taste, grapefruity and floral. Average carbonation, medium bodied, more aggressively hopped. Short bitter finish. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Pours a cloudy amber with a smallish head. Aromas of caramel, orange, and pine. Sweet malts with hop bitterness and then an off flavor hits. There is a lot going on, but doesn’t come together as I would like.
