Many people enjoy this IPA because of its bold hop aroma and flavor while it still finishes clean. It’s a great companion with a meal or a bull session with friends. It is unfiltered and dry-hopped to give you the full blast of the Gale Force. Hops: UK East Kent Goldings, Cascade and Columbus.

Pours a nice amber orange with thin white head. Aroma of citrus hops ever so slight, but dulled compared to other non-floral hops. Flavor at first was extremely different for an IPA, but came back somewhat, but defniitely has it’s own character in the IPA world.

Bottle, pours pale gold with a light haze and a decent head. Zesty lemon upfront, bitter Seville orange marmalade, honey malts, light medium body with a full long, bitter ending. Soft carbonation.

Bottle. Nose of light caramel and strong orange marmalade (striking!) with lighter greens and wood. Pours hazy orange with a too-large and excitable dense beige head. Taste medium bitter but really smacks with dense carbonation and a high degree of mineral flavor (think bottled mineral water). Generally clean with a little wheat/caramel like flavor on a slime, bitterness turns a leafy green with light resin and the minerals turn a bit too salty. Touch of cookie. Medium body but the carbonation bumps it up a notch. Lightly sweet, bit drier in the aftertaste. Touch of alcohol showing but barely, some interesting dark toffee flitting about the bottom after the citrus very quickly recedes. Overall very fresh, but also raw. [2015.11.02: 3.1]

Draught at Big Beer Step event. Clear amber with decent lacing. Grassy, resin aroma. Fairly bitter, not very exciting but okay.

bottled - super foamy head (think it’s an old bottle). Nice orange color. Decent hop flavor. Light.

Bomber. Clear golden amber pour, with a white head. Pine, caramel, fairly bitter, notes of citrus, bread, and some (honey) sweetness. Ok, but too much malt for my liking in an IPA.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a clear gold with a massive off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of citrus and resin. Light bitter finish.

Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, candied orange and pink grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, orange zest and light grapefruit with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy Amber color. Massive rocky beige head. Spicy toasted malt nose has notes of cinnamon and caramel. Slightly tart bready toasted malt flavor. Some spicy bitterness upfront. Seems unbalanced and in disarray. Not an atypical IPA.

Caramalt, toffee, cinnamon. Dark malt, dry fruit, honey, cake, green hops, orange chocolate, dry bitter finish. Interesting one, quite malty and cookie-forward with subdued hops (96 ibu???)

Bottle (5.25%) from Grocery Outlet. Medium amber in color. Lightly sweet nose with an earthy sort of hop character to it. Bready up front with a pretty strong grapefruit peel finish. A little bit of an earthy English hop character as well. Not a real hoppy IPA. Almost more of an esb or something.
