12oz bottle poures a light amber color with thin whit head that leaves light lacing. smells of dough, citrus and sweet malt. Tastes of the same things. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with light carbonation. This is just a mediocre pale ale with a the only plus being the high abv.

12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during GTMW. Twist off bottle cap. Clear amber color. Little off-white bubbly head. Mildly hazy with the final pour. Leaves decent ridges of lace. Head fades to a minimal ring soon. Medium plus body. Light carbonation. Slick oily texture. Malty crackery bready aroma dominates. Bigger sweet taste. Caramel. Very mild hop. Kind of a green olive taste. Pairing it with my grilled subway sandwich helps it immensely. Just a little olive comes out, olive taste disappears. Overall, though, an unnecessarily malty and sweet pale ale, with minimal hop.

Incredibly high ABV for this style. Not sure if it works. I typically drink beers from 6-8% ABV, and this is one of the first that strikes me as overly boozy.

Caramel, a sweetness, fruit aroma. Pours clear a golden/orange with a white head and decent lacing. Good malt sweetness and hop bitterness, a bit astringent maybe slightly oxidized. With decent flavor

Not a very distinctive aroma. Gold color, short lasting white well laced head. Bitter taste hint of hops, watery feel with bitter metallic finish.

Nice medium body. Somewhat cloudy color, but nice light texture. Ever so slight citrus flavor with lil bitterness.

A very hoppy beer, but its missing balance. Not enough bitterness and too grassy, there are much better IPA out there ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle. Stylistically odd, a 7.1% Pale Ale. Sweet and rich, with a some pleasant, mild lemony-orange hop tones. Piny, citronella aroma. I could definitely go for a sixpack of this. Full bodied, with an almost bocky kick, also some Imperial Pils feel. Decent offering for sure.

Bottle:   Orange side of golden, faint haze, light carbonation, soft frothy white head, little lacing.   Seems to show a bit of alcohol right up front on the nose, which is odd.   Wait a minute, this one is 7.1 %?   Don’t get much on the nose, perhaps a real subtle hop and breadiness, but the alcohol fumes are showing on this one.   Very pale bready start, almost nil in the hop department, but a somewhat pithy and or citrus peel bitterness, fused with alcohol.   A bit better on the tongue, but not by much.   Body and mouthfeel feel pretty malty, a bit heavier than most.   Finishes with a warming bready note, slight pith and alcohol linger.   Kinda big for a Pale Ale me thinks, and a bit caustic too.   Perhaps this is what Mariners like?

22 oz bottle from Total Wine and More The APA poured an almost clear light amber. The ale had a nice white frothy head with lacing. The aroma was of floral resin and citrus. The flavor of spruce and pine blended with citrus towards the end. There is a warm bitterness in the top of your mouth. The medium body ale had average carbonation. The finish was typical pale ale with modest bitterness and some resin lingering on your tongue.
