Pours hazy with little head retention. Very little smell: slightly floral, but only slightly noticeable. Taste is lightly sweet and very lightly bitter. Itís a very unassuming beer. Medium body, with lots of carbonation. Overall, a decent drinking beer. Itís not unoffensive, but itís not something Iíd search out. Itís pretty much the mark of: this is a beer. I can drink it. Itís not Miller, et al, but itís nothing great.

On tap at Scuttlebutt, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out sweet cereal more and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted grains, especially sweet cereal notes. Standard stuff, but clean. Meh.

Sample at Tap House Grill. Clear pale golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of bready malt, fruit and slight hops. Light-bodied with flavors of biscuit malt, fruit and slight grassy hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Barely average overall.

355ml bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours with a head. Aromas of honey and orange. Taste is more of the same. Dull finish.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - honey and orange. Slight cough lozenge thing going on. Taste - more citrus and honey generally lacking freshness. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture but a finish that could be a lot fresher. Overall - a bit like a cream style. Not sure why in somewhere like Washington there isnít an abundance of hops going on.

On tap @ Beer Revolution, Calgary. Medium golden body, average white head. Grainy, a bit doughy, very thin. Not much to this.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 01.28.14. A: Yellow with a 1/4 finger head. S: Banana, bubblegum, citrus, orange. Smells like an otter pop. T: Peanut butter dominates. Lemon, orange are there too. M: Smooth. O: Maybe this was unfiltered, or maybe this was an old beer, but it was so uninteresting that I donít care about checking. They donít date the bottle, so whatever. It had very strange flavors for a blonde. I would not recommend this one.

12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden-yellow with a big chunky head of tight white bubbles. Based on the two Scuttlebutt beers I have had, they know how to create beers with head retention. Aroma is scratchy grass. Flavors include a nice sweetness and a surprising body for the alcohol level. The scratchy, grass character is also present in the flavors, and is a turn off at this moment. Iím sure it is more tolerable in hot weather instead of winter cold.
