COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our creamy porter is ideal for the dark beer connoisseur. It has a lightly roasted flavor with hints of chocolate and peat. A smooth finish and superb balance make it enjoyable going down. The secret to this beer is the extra aging. Even those just getting started with darker beers enjoy this one

From Total Wine Scottsdale. Dark dark brown with nice lasting dense tan head and lace. Looks pretty much exactly like a brown porter should. Mild earthy mocha aroma with some wet fall leaves. Assertively dark fruity sweet with medium earthy long bitterness. Very good.

It's drinkable, but not my favorite. It's a little more thin than I prefer in a porter. And doesn't have a discernible taste that lingers. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Nice, well balanced porter. Pours black with a thin head that disappears right away. Aroma is standard porter, with some coffee and roasted malts. Flavor is solid; roasted, sometimes almost burnt malts, coffee, chocolate, cola, dark fruits. Medium bodied with a medium finish.

Poured a thin head on a black body. The aroma is roasted and burnt malt, strong on the burnt part. It’s bold and I like it. The taste has a good burnt malt to it with a touch of cream to balance it out. One sided but pretty good. The texture is smooth with moderate carbonation. Enjoyable if you like a bold porter.

Poured a deep black color with a thin light tan head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, toast, nuts, floral, and a very faint smokiness. Taste is chicory, chocolate, smoke, with a slightly bittersweet finish that lingers. Not a bad porter, but not memorable either.

Pours dark brown to black with white head. Smell of coffee and peat. Smooth taste with moderate body. No EtOH taste. Finishes mild. Good beer. Similar to Black Butte Porter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Don’t know if I’d go so far as to say this is creamy... It pours a jet black with no head. A faint scent of burnt coffee. Flavor is overwhelmingly coffee and roasty. A bit watery to be honest. Not a favorite.

Black color with creamy head. This beer doesn’t require a complex description: it has a light cheesy and yeasty aroma with the dark malts; the flavor of chocolate and roasted malts balance, with a hint of coffee, no excessive roastiness, and correct bitterness; not dry, it has a minimal residual sweetness. In other words, this is a very well brewed Porter!
Little, but elegant.

22 oz bottle poured into a shaker style pint glass. Aroma is caramel and roasted malt, slight raisin, and faint smoke. Maybe a little nutty. Pours with a few soda-like bubbles and retains no foam or lacing. Taste is malty caramel with a dry roasted malt finish and hints of raisins and smoke. Decently long finish for a beer of moderately low strength. Palate is well balanced - between the medium low carbonation and roasty dryness and the caramel/raisin sweetness. The smoke is still present but not in sufficient quantity to add or detract from this beer. Overall very tasty for a porter of this strength but not something I would go out of my way to try again.

Dark and nicely carbonated for a port or. Slight chocolate flavor very smooth. Nice lacing. Very nice beer. Has a nice bite to it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
