Our creamy porter is ideal for the dark beer connoisseur. It has a lightly roasted flavor with hints of chocolate and peat. A smooth finish and superb balance make it enjoyable going down. The secret to this beer is the extra aging. Even those just getting started with darker beers enjoy this one

Bottle. The pour was a very dark brown, almost black with an average sized (1-2 finger) light brown creamy head that was mostly lasting, but retreated finally to a thin foamy layer of residue producing some excellent sheets of lacing. The aroma was of a dark roasted malt and an earthy leathery yeast with notes of milk chocolate, coffee, some dark fruit and a hint of ash. The taste was mildly sweet and malty with notes of dark fruit and chocolate from the onset but got progressively mildly bitter with a good note of coffee and a touch of smoke at the end. The flavor lasted an average duration with the smoky coffee flavor left to linger on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was a solid medium in body and a bit watery yet still quite creamy in texture with a nice soft carbonation. Overall a good and solid Porter with a light fruitiness and a nice mild smoke presence at the end.

Took me a while to get through it for some reason - maybe I was off. Quite a thin porter with a decent blend of liquorice, coffee, stewweggdss caasdfbsgj, mfdzdgmbdaadgh,,

Bottle @Home (Ryder Cup Day 1 2016 tasting). Pours black tan head. Nose is tart, funk, candy and vinegar, this is obviously wrong. Yep this has gone, ther is a slight sweetness at first then a tart, funky vinegar comes along. Will try to get another bottle.

Bottle from Firma Bier at 5.5% ABV, 12 oz bottle batch 261(?), large sample. Dark brown color, medium frothy head. Aroma of fruity and earthy hop, lactic notes, roasty, licorice, dark fruit, bit funky bubblegum. Roasty bitterness in taste, slight salty licorice, funk, fruity bubblegum. Bit dry and roasty in the finish, togethr with some salty licorice candy. Didnt expect a Bretty porter, but it feels quite balanced. Tasty.

A deep dark porter with a very thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light caramel notes, light coffee grind, musty character, resinous hops, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light butterscotch, nutty notes, light grassy hops, light mineral notes, silky mouth feel, nice.
