3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - JAN 1, 2013
Draught at the brewpub, 6-4-7-4-13=34 Hazy amber color with small creamy head. There is an earthy touch both in the aroma and flavor; the flavor is basically caramel, with a good bitterness level and mild hop qualities (some resins). Good.
Nitro at the brewpub, 6-4-7-3-13=33 Hazy amber color with obvious creamy head; it seems darker than the CO2 version. Smoother mouthfeel; the earthy touch is now almost absent, just the good caramel is left; similar to the other version, but some of the pleasant edges of it don’t appear here, especially the final is blander.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 hayduke (2931) - Eureka, California, USA - DEC 3, 2012
Purchased from the brewpub in Everett. Pours a dear clear amber color with quick to rise and quick to settle big bubbled off-white head. The nose shows roasted caramel malts and floral, citrus, and grassy hops. Medium in body with a smooth clean mouthfeel. The flavor mirrors the aroma with citrus even more prominent and the finish is dry and bitter. Well balanced and quite good.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Bookseeb (52) - Wenatchee, Washington, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Appearance is a reddish amber with a dissipating head leaving nill lace. Smell is soft of the malt and hops. Taste has a softer malt flavor that brings out more of the citrusy hops. Mouthfeel is medium light with good carbonation. A little unbalanced towards the hops leaving the malt more in the background

A nice beer. Deep amber, longlasting fairly thin head. Nice mild hops aroma. Mildly bitter with an offsetting sweetness. Very drinkable - kind of a pleasant surprise from a brewer I am not familiar with.
