Tulip snifter from bottle aged around a year. A: slight pine, slight lemon, slight lime, sourness all around. App: deep golden hue with 3 finger frothy, white head. T: slight alcohol on the front with a belgium yeast sweetness. Sweeter on the back with slight breadiness on the back. P: medium bubbles, finish is long and consists of slight honeydew and alcohol.

I haven’t had a traditional Belgian Ale so I have nothing to compare this Belgian Style Ale against. The Tripel 7 Poured a deep golden color that reminded me of apple juice with a thin off-white head. The aroma came off a little fruity with a hint of wet grass. It had a medium body with a soft mouth feel that kind of popped with the carbonation and the back of my throat. Not at all unpleasant. The taste of this ale was mildly herbal with a hint of pear and bitter hops. The aftertaste was a bit astringent which showed up more and more as this beer warmed up towards room temperature. This aftertaste becomes a little overpowering towards the end of the glass. This is a great beer as long as it remains at a nice chilled temperature.

Bottle: pours a golden amber color with a small white head. Aromas are super fruity and sweet. Taste was much the same... Sweet and fruity, not as "belgianny" as I was hoping, but it’s pretty good. Where is the alcohol? Hidden so well... Enjoyable, but not what I was expecting.

Pours a nice golden hazy color. Actually pretty disappointing for the style as its unbalanced. Syrupy sweet and and an astringent aftertaste.

Nice golden color with a White head. Tastes like a regular Belgian ale with almost a barrel aged taste, which I don’t really like. But the abv is high so that makes up for it :)

P: Slightly hazed copper body with a topping if white thin milky head that fades rather fast and leaves a wet ring around the glass. S: Starfruit, peaches, apricot preserves, pears, yellow apples, wheat grain, pineapple, artificial syrup flavoring and lime. Has almost a dairy character to it. Dry timidly musty yeast, and weeds. Aroma is dialed down. T/M: Not like the fruity nose. It has an odd aftertaste of spoiled fruit and bitterness similar to bitting into kale. Butterscotch comes to mind for the weird after math. Artificial banana and an odd spice profile. Body is nice and sticky with a subtle dose of carbonation. Overall taste is off and cheap. O: Not a fan of this beer but I didn’t expect too much for such a cheap tripel offering. Nose is nice and body was well done. Taste is just not appealing.

Faint aroma of caramel and belgian candi sugar. Golden brown color with no foam. Extremely bitter with completely unbalanced flavors of random fruits, alcohol and burnt caramel. Overall, this has terrible balance and the flavors are all over the place. Not good quality.

Single bottle. Slightly hazy golden pour with a quickly disappearing head, a little foamy lacing. A lot of yeast and sugar in the nose. same with the taste - sweet and sour, good bit of yeast, not very well-balanced. Leaves a fairly astringent aftertaste. Not great.

I like this type of beer, but this one didn't do it for me. It was too sweet and one dimensional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy light amber color with very little head on it. Nose has just a hint of citrus in there and a subtle bit of spices. Definitely has the Belgian-style yeast, as that predominates. Taste is slightly sour, but fairly unremarkable. Meh.

Hazy gold - amber beer, tidy white head. Light palate, airy with fine carbonation. Sweet herbal malts even by Tripel standards. Quite perfumed as well with a whisper of dried fruits. Trace of orange. Semi dry finish. Refreshing Tripel.
