12 oz bottle Pours a dark golden color with a medium fizzy head that faded quick and leaves spotty soapy like lacing. Smells of dough and Belgian yeast and spices. Tastes of Belgian yeast, dough, banana, apple and pear. Mouthfeel is surupy with good carbonation and a semi dry finish. Overall this has strange sour elements for a tripel which makes it different. Since I live close to Everett Iíve had it many times but prefer it on draft. I might revisit this after having it again on draft because it seemed to taste a little different from the bottle.

Following an afternoon of getting filthy and wet while chopping out caragana root balls and hiding from society 10ft away its time for even more beer. Instead of buying this it was smuggled inside a ducks uterus from the place south of us. Ultra clean beer with almost no head but what existed still holds on. Mellow aroma - soft fruit, yeast, grainy and a bit of dry field grass. The taste is pretty good but the level fades off to the side a touch near the back end. Decent fruit, moderate yeast that fades out, sweet grains, tarty dry finish. Pretty good. Itís not a fucked up attempt like some. Terrible coloured label that lacks depth just like the beer in the bottle. Is it really 2.7... not really but put it up against others and it is. Iím pretty sure Iíve had shittier versions of this style and rated them higher but the line is hard tonight. I guess that makes me realize that I need ot be more honest and really shit all over the plethora of wannabe pieces of shit that steal my money. Not bad, quite enjoyable but needs some complexity and is not up to par with basically anything from muigleB.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange with a very minimal head. Not much aroma but does have some light caramel malt, a hint of banana and biscuit. Tastes more like a malty hefeweizen. Not bad but missing some depth.

Bottle. A very basic tripel. On sale for cheap - good value, but not very interesting.

Bottle. Pale pour, white head. Good retention. Grain, Belgian yeast esters, lightly sweet, lightly grainy, lightly bitter, lightly light, but also lightly heavy (in body, thickness).

Bottle. Medium golden body with an average white head. Sweet pale malts, spicy estery yeast. Nothing really wrong here, maybe a bit simple, but tripels are just not my favourite style.

(Bottle) Decent, but pretty simple-tasting. Iíd be interested in comparing it to New Belgiumís tripel. For a tripel, itís not great, but for a cheap tripel, itís not bad at all.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2015 Bought a 6 pack on a whim, was doubtful that an $8 six pack would be a satisfactory Belgian. I was pleasantly surprised. While not as complex as a top quality Belgian, it was very good. very good yeast flavor and aroma. For a bargain Belgium, I?d recommend it.
