3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Poured a medium yellowish-amber almost strawlike in color with a large bellowing creamy white head that was mostly lasting and had excellent lacing. The aroma was strong of caramel malts, flowery hops and an earthy yeast with notes of banana, pears and a mild alcohol tinge. It tasted lightly sweet with hints of banana and pears at first then became slightly bitter with a strong yeast presence and a slight warming sensation after the swallow. Mouthfeel was light to medium in body and extremely creamy in texture with a very soft carbonation. Overall a mild tasting belgian ale that is very appealing and quite easy to drink, considering the high alcohol content that you never taste.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light gold color. Thin, white head. Belgian aroma of cloves and cinnamon is present. Thereís also hints of bubblegum. This sweet bubblegum aroma leads into a sweeter taste than I expected. The Belgian spiciness is there, but itís subdued and somewhat underneath a smoother, sweeter (more honey than caramel), beer. Body is just a bit on the thin side. Good but not exactly a traditional Belgian. And if this is really 9% itís hiding its booze very well.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours cloudy orange with a medium white head. The aroma has cream, mild caramel, milk and abbey ale yeast. It has a medium / full body with quite a bit of soft carbonation. The flavor starts off with caramel, smooth malt, milk, Belgian yest and a good amount of sweetness. The finish adds a bit of spice, but is still very slick and smooth.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a hazy golden color with white head. Light fruits, yeast, raw wheat, and some close on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little sweetness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden with a slight orange hue, under a thin foamy white head. Nose is earthy estery with some light tree fruit and brewery cleaner. But the flavor pops with a ever-so-slight acidity that turns to doughy pilsner grains, tangerine, pear, and sweet apple with a little malty boozy ester toward the finish. Doesnít taste too hot, so itís a bit delightfully dangerous.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
I havenít had a traditional Belgian Ale so I have nothing to compare this Belgian Style Ale against. The Tripel 7 Poured a deep golden color that reminded me of apple juice with a thin off-white head. The aroma came off a little fruity with a hint of wet grass. It had a medium body with a soft mouth feel that kind of popped with the carbonation and the back of my throat. Not at all unpleasant. The taste of this ale was mildly herbal with a hint of pear and bitter hops. The aftertaste was a bit astringent which showed up more and more as this beer warmed up towards room temperature. This aftertaste becomes a little overpowering towards the end of the glass. This is a great beer as long as it remains at a nice chilled temperature.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: pours a golden amber color with a small white head. Aromas are super fruity and sweet. Taste was much the same... Sweet and fruity, not as "belgianny" as I was hoping, but itís pretty good. Where is the alcohol? Hidden so well... Enjoyable, but not what I was expecting.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a nice golden hazy color. Actually pretty disappointing for the style as its unbalanced. Syrupy sweet and and an astringent aftertaste.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Nice golden color with a White head. Tastes like a regular Belgian ale with almost a barrel aged taste, which I donít really like. But the abv is high so that makes up for it :)

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
P: Slightly hazed copper body with a topping if white thin milky head that fades rather fast and leaves a wet ring around the glass.
S: Starfruit, peaches, apricot preserves, pears, yellow apples, wheat grain, pineapple, artificial syrup flavoring and lime. Has almost a dairy character to it. Dry timidly musty yeast, and weeds. Aroma is dialed down.
T/M: Not like the fruity nose. It has an odd aftertaste of spoiled fruit and bitterness similar to bitting into kale. Butterscotch comes to mind for the weird after math. Artificial banana and an odd spice profile. Body is nice and sticky with a subtle dose of carbonation. Overall taste is off and cheap.
O: Not a fan of this beer but I didnít expect too much for such a cheap tripel offering. Nose is nice and body was well done. Taste is just not appealing.
