Not showing any of the flaws from other raters. Dark gold with an orange tint. The nose shows Belgian yeast along with some banana/esters. Medium bodied tripel, brioche and coriander palate. Soft and round mouthfeel. Medium finish.
1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 harpsm (27) - Maryland, USA - FEB 13, 2012
12 oz. bottle purchased Dec 2011. Something is very wrong here. This beer tastes like a cross between a tripel and a Flemish sour, with an emphasis on the sour. My guess is that this batch is infected, because I seriously doubt this was intentional.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hopasaurus_rex (109) - Surprise, Arizona, USA - JAN 27, 2012
Pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Lots of carbonation. Belgian yeasts, bananas, vinegar and sour apple...slightly floral too. Get that Belgian yeast flavor first followed by a pretty potent lemon/orange tanginess. Definitely odd. Mouthfeel is incredibly sour. The lemon sourness lingers in your mouth. Strange flavors but not a bad beer.

Deep hazy golden coloured body with a honey glow and a thin off-white head. Aroma of yeast, honey, flowers and a touch of sweetness - very strong. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong yeastie flavour with some wheat, coriander seed, curacao and a thick malty flavour all noticeable with some apricots and apples dancing on the finish and a little complexity at the tail end. Overall, a nice tripel with a lot of sweetness, some pungent flavours and good complexity. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia camping at Shenandoah National Park in Virginia.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 julieimagery (88) - Coconut creek, Florida, USA - JAN 20, 2012
UPDATED: APR 28, 2012 The color looks like orange juice. Very orange and bright - almost radioactive. The smell isn’t too pleasant and the palate is very tart and bitter. It has prominent hops flavors throughout sips but mostly it tastes like citrus and orange. I like it better than the Unibroue Don de Dieu.nuts,
