Skyview (3061), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Sep 2, 2008 On draught at the brewpub in Everett, Washington. Pours a semi-clear golden amber brew with a creamy white head that has some good retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of sweet golden grain malt, candi sugar, some cotton candy, yeast and a hint of cloves. Taste is full bodied, very light carbonated with banana esters, yeast, cloves, candi sugar and some vanilla. Finish is semi-sweet with a lingering yeast and clove aftertaste. Alcohol is hidden very well in this tripel. riversideAK (1755), Shoreline, Washington, USA Aug 20, 2008 Buttery sweetness and light spicy yeast on the nose. Pours a lightly hazy yellow gold tone with a thin head. More buttery sweetness in the flavor that really dominates the whole beer. Light yeasty esters and spice, as well as a soft bready maltiness are there but are really overwhelmed by the butter. Thin body and no hint of 10% at all. 5000 (2401), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA Nov 9, 2007 Bottle: Golden in color, somewhat dull, fairly clear, light carbonation, large foamy white head, a few rings of lacing. Bready
nose, slightly doughy, very minor floral aspect. Smells like most American made Belgians. Bready on the tongue, semi-sweet,
slight floral and pale fruit skin. Hides ABV well, but lacks something. Not as bright, nor flavorful as I would have hoped.
Still decent, just a little "run of the mill" sorta stuff. Fairly clean finish. Remains bready throughout. Body and
mouthfeel are moderate. Tiz a bit warming at least. Pretty much reminds me of most American made Belgian style Ales, albeit this
one does seem heftier and a bit cleaner.

Beershine (1515), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 8, 2007 Supposedly an abbey tripel in the Belgian tradition but the 777 is light-bodied with a disappointing mouthfeel and a thin, watery finish. However, the entry is fruity and a tad sour for some pleasant tastes. Perhaps a good summer beer? scrizzz (523), kirkland, Washington, USA Sep 30, 2007 Soapy, light herbal aroma, hazy golden and bright yellow on the edges. light flavor like a maibock, tastes nothing like 9% like the bottle says. light citrus, soft yeast, and an underlying tartness persist for a good beer, but tastes like spring, not fall.
