COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our vanilla stout is a full bodied stout with some malty sweetness and mild hop notes, which are generally characteristic of an imperial stout. This beer has a stronger malt flavor from chocolate and crystal malts, and American hops give this stout a little kick. Vanilla pods from Africa were added to the beer for a week to give it a warm vanilla taste and nose.

Dark black with tan cappachino colored head. Aroma of herb and vanilla, malt backbone. At 8.5%, not a session beer but a nice way to finish up the evening.

Holy shit I loved this beer. Might be my favorite stout that I’ve ever had. The color was so dark and beautiful. Really appealing. Great, subtle sweetness, and not nearly as heavy as the ABV would suggest. My only criticism would be that after about two I was hammered, so it takes some self control.
