OK first off the aroma, who does not like apricots. Second Appearance, who does not like a bottle with a big fluffy white dog wearing a yellow rain hat, third taste, who does not like any beer at work. Fourth palate, who does not like the taste of fruit after drinking a beer, and finally overall not a bad beer. Not my favorite but at work It is a nice break from running the chainsaw, if you know what I mean. My wife’s mother’s girlfriend would definitely drink this fruity beer. Im al for that. Oh, dont forget your BigRed with this one. I know my wife’s mother’s girlfrind was chewing on Big Red after she drank a few of these.

Pours yellow-orange with strong fruity apricot aroma. Wheat and apricot flavor. A bit underdeveloped or otherwise would have been a really nice beer.

Nice apricot beer that is smooth and light. Has that fruity taste and light look to it.

Orlando Total Wine bottle at Shades of Green. Clear copper color with a khaki head. Nice aroma of fresh apricots with some grain dust. Flavor is fairly mild apricot with a hint of wheat; even a hint of pit. Fine.

Appearance is about the best thing here, although I suspect there’re foaming agents. Aroma is faintly apricot extract. Flavor is also not like fresh apricots, more like an apricot soda pop with some beery flavorings added. Body is thin. This is a one and done.

From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dense apricot/peachy. Sweet fruity impression. Mellow. Floral. Light bitter and lingering fruity finish.

12 oz. bottle from backlog notes. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma was rather mild with pale wheat malt and some apricot fruitiness. The flavor has pale wheat malts and apricot fruitiness, light beer, no reason to revisit.

Transfer from BA review on 4-10-14- Poured from bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of fizzy white foam and tons of carbonation bubbles seen streaming up through the brew. The head fades quite fast leaving only a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – A strong peach and apricot aroma is the bulk of the smell. These are combined with a bit of a wheaty and grassy smell producing a nice sweet, fruity aroma overall. Taste – The taste begins with a wheat bread and apricot flavor right from the start. These flavors create a base for the brew with the wheat remaining relative constant and the apricot gaining strength as the flavor advances. Along with the slight increase in the apricot, comes some flavors of a peach nature, accentuating the fruity nature of the brew as the taste advances. A very light grassy flavor joins the taste at the end of the flavor profile, leaving one with a medium sweet, but rather crisp, fruity apricot and peach flavor, to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thinner side with a carbonation level that is on the slightly higher side. Both are fantastic for the fruity flavors of the brew and make for a very refreshing and more crisp brew overall. Overall – A not overly sweet and quite drinkable apricot ale. Rather refreshing and easy drinking.

"Like a fruit perfume on the nose. Too light bodied and flavored to be taken too seriously, but not quite as bad as the 3rd percentile would imply. Pleasant apricot flavor, but NOTHING else. Weak, if non-offensive."

12 ounce bottle from the Belmont bargain bin. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A big sweet grains and apricot nose. Wheat, sweet apricot, sugary at times, a bit of dusty wheat and yeast. OK. Drinkable.

Bottle. A- Apricots, fruity, sugar, sweet. A- Golden orange color, clear liquid, no head. T- Apricots, medium sweetness, P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, sweet finsh. O- Almost good. The apricot was artificial and too sugary tasting, as well as being slightly cloying. The carbonation was so high it felt like drinking a apricot soda or something. As with other Sea Dog brews I have had, they are close to being good but just not quite there. No exception with this one.
