The aroma of this beer is fantastic. Like you are in the country surrounded by ripe blueberries. Sadly its down hill from here. Its a very light beer. It has a slight blueberry taste, but not much else. It really has no complexity and is very watery. Such a great smell but such a disappointing beer.

Bottle: Near brassy orange with quickly dissipating off-white foam. Smell of blueberry and some funk. Not too much in the flavor, sort of corny actually. The bottle a bought had a different label, if I’d known that’s what this was I would have passed on it.

Shorty at Yard House - Cincinnati, labeled "Bluepaw Wild Blueberry" on the menu. Pours a semi-cloudy gold with a small but resilient eggshell cap. Notes of blueberry, wheat, pale malts, lemon, and wet cracker. Light-bodied, with medium to high carbonation and a dry, malty, fruity mouthfeel. I probably won’t ever order this again, but it’s not bad.

Smell of grain and lots of juicy berries. Clear pale pour with little head. Light lager flavor with some fairly natural tasting blueberry, slightly sweet but not too much. Meets its goal well. Light bodied.

During our beer tasting group we decided to compare it to Budweiser when another compared it to pancakes or Leinenkugals.

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Stone Ruination IPA pint glass From: Albertsons in Alpine, Calif. Price: $1.67 ($9.99 for a mix 6-pack) Purchased: Jan. 2, 2015 Consumed: Jan. 19, 2015 Misc.: Best enjoyed by Feb. 2015 Poured a copper, pale, clear color with one finger of off-white head, that dissipated quickly. Few streams of bubbles coming up from the bottom. Minimal lacing. Minimal retention. (Sight - 2.88) Smelled blueberry, raspberry, blueberry muffins, artificial sugary notes, boysenberry and blackberry. (Smell - 3.75) Tasted pretty close to the nose. Blueberry, blueberry muffin, blueberry pancakes, light sugary caramel, bready malts and Blue Raspberry Blow Pop. (Taste - 3.63) Light body. Thin-to-oily texture. Soft carbonation. Abrupt, fruity finish. (Feel - 3.00) A pretty decent fruit beer overall, although I’m a sucker for them. Would be nice in the summer. (Overall - 3.63) 3.60 82 B

As soon as I opened the bottle I was hit with a wave of blueberry extract aroma. I have a had a few blueberry beers, some good, some not so good, and this one falls into the latter. It has a very fake blueberry popsicle sort of flavor that isn’t too pleasing. Maybe on a hot summers day I could enjoy one, but until then, I think i’ll pass.

Bottle - Sweet blueberry jam and liquor. Clear orange gold with a decent white head. Blueberries and some syrup. Pretty artificial and sweet, surely nice for those who don’t like beer.

Aroma out of the bottle is fresh blueberries but it fades to a kind of funky wheat smell. Nice flavour, decent wheat profile and some fresh muddled blueberry flavours.
