Sammys (428), Portland, Maine, USA Jul 17, 2000 Dark reddish color (perhaps colored with apple peel, much like red wines are colored with grape skin), with a very fruity aroma. Has an extremely nice flavor, the alcohol was not overpowering. This is one of the best ciders I’ve had. Not sure about the alcohol content, but it did taste somewhat more like a Brut than a Doux.
