The appearance had a light fizzy white head about paper thin.. Gently rising carbonation bubbled to the surface. The body was golden brown. The smell was centered around the malts and sugary. The taste was the malts and the sugar with some herbal hops balancing it to make it taste more like a beer and not malt liquor. The palate was light and creamy with a sticky yet dry finish. Overall, a decent sessionable English IPA.

Ratebeer tells me this is bottled and marketed under more than one name. I had it as Kennebunkport IPA, purchased at Trader Joe’s. The color is a medium amber, it’s slightly cloudy and has a little foam. The smell isn’t very good. Reminds me strongly of boiled cabbage. That sums up the flavor, too, although there is also a mild caramel in the finish. I won’t buy this again.

Clear brew and amber in colour. Hops and caramel dominate the aroma although it is reduced and seems to be filtered. Medium bodied brew with a fast finish and dry and bitter finish. boring for the style.

12oz bottle. Pours a light amber with small white head. Aroma is faint citrus. Heavily resinous, grassy bitter flavor. Maybe a bit oxidized. Light bodied, a bit watery with bitter aftertaste. Wouldn’t recommend this.

12 oz bottle sold as Kennebunkport IPA from Trader Joe’s. pours translucent copper, off white head powered by visible carbonation. nose is catty, hate so be this blunt put is smells like burnt urine. taste has undertones of sweetness, caramel, fruity pebbles. mild bitterness on finish. body is ok.

355mL thanks to Dedicatedtofun! Clear deep orange. Wispy white lacing. Nose is hotel bar soap, intense chemical lavender. Taste is hotel bar soap, intense chemical. Super soapy. Ew. Palate is lemon tea.

Pours a slightly hazy copper color. Aroma is bright and slightly hoppy with a hint of sweet malt. Flavor is fairly well balanced between floral hoppy and amber malt. Pretty okay but nothing special.

Draught at the brewpub in Orlando. Hazy orange colour with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of fruit, hops and malt.

A pretty disappointing IPA. Some pine and grass with a lot of cardboard in the aftertaste.

Kosmokrator (425) - ITALY - DEC 8, 2013
