3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 hockeybeerguy (212) - Portland, Maine, USA - JAN 15, 2013The appearance had a light fizzy white head about paper thin.. Gently rising carbonation bubbled to the surface. The body was golden brown. The smell was centered around the malts and sugary. The taste was the malts and the sugar with some herbal hops balancing it to make it taste more like a beer and not malt liquor. The palate was light and creamy with a sticky yet dry finish. Overall, a decent sessionable English IPA.

Nice and not too bitter. Very smooth and drinkable. Nice aftertaste and was well brewded too.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Elwood (2493) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a deep copper color with a lasting off white head. The nose has a light green apple fruitiness with slight floral notes. Very caramelly up front with metallic note coming in strong. The lasting finish has an aspirin like bitterness that doesn’t blend well. Not all that good.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Sarpa (364) - FINLAND - APR 12, 2013
Bottle @ Konttori. Pours clear amber with a small head. Aroma of caramel, toffee. Same in the flavor. Not an ipa

Pours clear copper color with a minimal head. Aroma of nettle, malts, nuts and some caramel. Flavor of nuts, fruits and malts. Quite crappy to be honest.

Chestnut brown with a cm of off-white head. Aroma is out of place toasty malt. Taste is the same as the aroma with a husky, grainy astringency. Not really an IPA. $2/12oz
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 biscuitroller (2) - Dyersburg, Tennessee, USA - MAR 24, 2013 does not count
New recipe. Light amber in appearance. Aroma is slightly hoppy. Can’t say I’m a fan of this one. I particularly don’t like English hops and this tastes like it has plenty. Lacks balance. Wouldn’t buy a six pack even if it was on sale.
2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 OKplus (379) - Oklahoma, USA - MAR 13, 2013
A - Slightly cloudy copper with a big bubbled head.
S - Grapefruit, some floral spice. Pretty weak nose.
T - Clean grapefruit across a sweet buttery malt. Green apples, white grapes, and pineapple. Hops provide good balanced but are muted.
Very clean and easy drinking. Not spectacular but a good. Very drinkable.
