MoreHead (355), Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA Oct 12, 2006 picked up at trader joes. poured gold with no head and lacing. sweet floral hops aroma, mild hops taste. kind of metalic. would be a good ipa for a beginner to easy into hops, not that impressive for an ipa though.
lithy (206), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Oct 6, 2008 A total gusher, hazy golden orange with lots of foamy light cream color head. Nose is tart and acidic this must be infected. Some malt taste but more acidity, medicinal. Possibly some citrus hops on the tongue but not really bitter, just lingering hops. This needs a re-rate with a proper bottle. BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Oct 4, 2008 Bottle: Pours a copper bronze color with a nice head and good lacing. The nose is lightly grassy with a fresh hop note, a bit sweet and fruity though with ample caramel malt and a doughy cookie note. The flavor is balanced, more sweet though, almost too much malt, not enough bitterness. The finish is mellow, sweet and doughy. Good nose, hoppy throughout, pronounced caramel. JorisPPattyn (4500), Antwerpen, Belgium Sep 21, 2008 Updated: Sep 30, 2008 Tasted as Kennebunkport India Pale Ale, and mentioning Pugsley Brewery, Portland on the label... Deep orange-copper beer, clear, with a small yellow head, fast gone; Bit solvent initially in the nose, then more classical hops. Not really overwhelming. Sweetish, caramelly taste, quite malty with a good hoppy, if nowhere bitter background. Cookies, very faint orange. Quite spritzy, carbonated MF. Light body. Only in the aftertaste, a discreet spike of metallic bitter appears. Run-of-the-mill IPA, no faults. Thanks, DA!
Aroma - Caramel, earth, roasty grain,

Appearance - Coppery amber with a a thin light beige head, fair lace

Flavor - Quite malty with a caramel and toffee sweetness, some peppery bitterness enters slowly, but is sufficient for a soft dry finish

Palate - Medium body and carbonation, smooth, barely dry

Overall - Drinkable, but unremarkable. patrick820 (69), San Luis Obispo, California, USA Sep 15, 2008 pours copper with nice light tan head, and some nice lacing. aroma is mostly metallic with some sweetness and yeastiness, flavor is honey with a ligh citrus malt finish, pretty mild for an IPA
Flavor got better towards the end of the glass with more maltiness.
