Commercial Description:
Four different malted barleys combine to create a distinctive, full-bodied beer with a roasted nuttiness, uniquely enhanced by a hint of hazelnuts. Smooth and creamy with the nose of the Willamette hop, this porter is a beer style unto itself.

Pours pretty much black with a decent off white head. Aroma is very nutty with a light mix of coffee and chololate. Flavor is bitter roasted nust and mild coca. Seemed a little watery.

A strong aroma with coffee aromas and a coffee flavoring. The palate suffers from a stale consistency; the beer doesn’t differ in taste to finish. High carbonation, seems to mask some flavors. Nice little head and strong ruby black colouring.

nuts with some hoppiness and hints of malt, alcohol somewhat noticeable which is surprising at 5.6%... taste is very one-dimensional with almost only nuts noticeable alongside malts, and it seemed somewhat watery

12 oz bottle, best by Sept. ’08. Very dark copper with a light brown head. Nose is mildly smoky malt with a light nuttiness. Flavor is more of the same, with a burnt edge. Not bad.

But au Mondial de la Bière 06. Couleur de cola, petit collet beige. Arome de noix rôti et d’herbe. Goût de noix, un peu amère mais doux.

12oz bottle-Dark brown with a nice tan head which has an aroma of roasted malt and hazelnut. A light mouthful with a taste of hazelnut, malt, hops, and a dryness on the back end. Very light and watered down for a porter almost should be a nut brown. Not a bad beer but has potential to be better.

12 oz bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Almost black color with big fluffy head. Bready, chocolatey and nutty aroma with pleasant hazelnut note. Chocolate, hazelnut, bread and some charcoal in the flavor. Overcarbonated.
