Dec 26, 2006 Pours pretty much black with a decent off white head. Aroma is very nutty with a light mix of coffee and chololate. Flavor is bitter roasted nust and mild coca. Seemed a little watery.

Aug 19, 2006 A strong aroma with coffee aromas and a coffee flavoring. The palate suffers from a stale consistency; the beer doesn’t differ in taste to finish. High carbonation, seems to mask some flavors. Nice little head and strong ruby black colouring.

Dec 12, 2007 12 oz bottle, best by Sept. ’08. Very dark copper with a light brown head. Nose is mildly smoky malt with a light nuttiness. Flavor is more of the same, with a burnt edge. Not bad.

Nov 18, 2007 12oz bottle-Dark brown with a nice tan head which has an aroma of roasted malt and hazelnut. A light mouthful with a taste of hazelnut, malt, hops, and a dryness on the back end. Very light and watered down for a porter almost should be a nut brown. Not a bad beer but has potential to be better.

Jan 27, 2008 12 oz bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Almost black color with big fluffy head. Bready, chocolatey and nutty aroma with pleasant hazelnut note. Chocolate, hazelnut, bread and some charcoal in the flavor. Overcarbonated.
