Beer with natural flavors added. Our unique light bodied wheat beer with a fragrant peach essence, and a clean refreshing grapefruit finish. A Sunfish pairs well with salads, pork, chicken, light fare, and fruit desserts like Peach Cobbler.

Aroma is fruit sweet with some wheat. Appearance is a nice light yellow, clear, but no head. Taste is sweet and peach, apricot maybe, and lots of wheat. Ends with a stale wheatyness and what seems like a tad if freezer burn. Palate is smooth and drinkable.

Bottle from Chevy Chase Supermarket. Pale amber body with medium, lasting head. Nose is floral, gum and peaches for sure. Taste is sweet of candy with peach notes. Can’t say this is my style. Wheaty. And very peachy.

I do not wax on poetically about beer but I do know the quality of a beer once tasted. This review is not about my tastes but reinforces the numbers, which are arbitrary.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/14/2016. Pours lightly hazy golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger foamy white head with decent retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Good appearance. Aromas of peach, grapefruit, lemon, mango, pineapple, pear, honey, wheat, cracker, lighty toasted bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance of fruit, pale malt, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of big peach, grapefruit, lemon, mango, pineapple, pear, honey, wheat, cracker, lighty toasted bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of peach, grapefruit, lemon, mango, pineapple, pear, honey, wheat, lighty toasted bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Very nice robustness and balance of fruit, pale malt, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderate crisp, and lightly creamy/grainy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is a very good fruited wheat beer. All around good robustness and balance of fruit, pale malt, and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; and very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Too boring, finishes sweet and a bit artificial. A nice summer night beer but not my cup of tea. Pours a bright golden copper with a soapy white head. Fruity and sweet throughout with light grapefruit bitterness.
