This beer definately has itís place: when you canít get your girlfriend/wife to drink beer with you. Iíll admit, I enjoyed the first few sips of this beer. Hey, I like blueberries! But what happened to the rest of the beer? Itís more watery and thin then my pound and ground Miller Lite! Now, itís not terrible at all. A real hot day....sitting by the pool..... and you girlfriend ran out of liquor....give her one of these "wine coolers". Iíll finish off my 6 pack and that will be my only experience with this beer.

$3.16 for the bottle purchased in town at a respectable joint. The bar maiden, popped the lid off and threw it into the trash. To pint, pours a mauve-tinted golden brown, with which a whitish head 1 and half fingers in length stood. Immediately remember the cloves, frozen blueberry concentrate, sweat, and bread yeast on the nose, and in my mouth. A slight leathery character experienced by swallow. Quaffable. Flavors were unquestionably a tad on the muted side, however.

Ordered this on accident thinking I was getting the fin stout. Oops. It isn't bad for me hating wheat and fruit beers. Refreshing on a hot summer patio day. Draft at beer market. Blueberry and fruity wheat taste - not much more to say

On can from Emporio dos Alros PInheiros, Sao Paulo. Golden color, some foam- a bit low carbonation. Aromas of blueberry, good intensity, some fruitiness and very light hop note. Medium/light bodt & complexity. Good bitterenss and balance. Enjoyable

Pours a pale amber with a medium, white head that lingers a while. Nose is blueberry. Taste is mildly sweet with a nice little hop bite and a blueberry finish. Somewhat thin, lively carbonation. Not bad.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a decent looking orange to brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a half a minute leaving some light lacing sticking to the sides of the glass. The smell definitely had the blueberry up front with a slight heavy grainy/wheat sort of thing going on. The taste was mainly the same thing taking that wheat/graininess to give a slight kick at the end. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat subdued as the wheat took over. Overall, Sea Dog/Shipyard did what they wanted to do. Itís everything they said it would be, however did I like it? Well, to me, the wheat tends to sit just a tad too heavy, Iíd rather have Bar Harborís Blueberry Ale.

12 ounce bottle from Trader Joes. Pours a clear orange color with almost no head. A big sweet berry nose, sugary. The flavor is sweet, dry earthy berries, sugary, wheat. OK, not very good. Seems to be overly sugary.

Would not have even thought of it, but put in fresh blueberries with this beer in a pint glass and it takes the rating up a notch!

Tasty and refreshing, but becomes bland the more you drink. Fine if you plan on tasting multiple beers in one sitting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
