COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A refreshing, straw-colored ale. The intense aromatics of Cascade hops are balanced by the richness of traditional two-row British malted barley. The fruity palate and crisp finish of this top-fermented ale bespeak of its British origins.

Pint at Mystic Seaport Spouters Tavern under the name Mystic Seaport Pale Ale. This was amber and hazy. Nice tropical fruit with grapefruit. A hint of cinnamon. It was malty and lightly bitter. I am not sure this is the same beer.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a very light yellow colored body with no lacing, and no rings. No carbonation is seen rising. An ever so small white head less than a film dissipated within seconds. The smell had some light malts with just a bit of graininess to it. The taste had some of the grains come back with the malts, mainly balanced, but nothing spectacular. A bit grassy and herbal. On the palate, it sat at/about a light, and was fairly sessionable, with no carbonation felt in my mouth. It had a balanced clean dry finish to it. Overall, this was not a bad beer, though it was nothing spectacular it does the trick on a warm day. I would have this again, most likely grillin’.

Draught at the brewpub in Orlando. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of hops, malt, grass and bitterness.

Draught. This is a pretty boring blonde without much going for it. I would give it a miss.

Draught @ So.Portland Pub: This one pours a clear, darker golden color. There was a small off-white head that left some lacing. It has a lighter nose. Some malts, grassy hops. There is a bit more of a body than was expected. Malts, no real sweetness or bitterness, touch earthy, faint fruits. Not too bad.

Location: Draft at Shipyard Tavern in Mystic, 7/13/13, as Mystic Seaport Ale

Aroma: The aroma is light, some pale malty, hints of floral hop, and fruity notes
Appearance: This one pours a cloudy golden color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is much the same, it is light and malty, a little sweet, and with mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light but not watery, clean, average carbonation, and mildly dry finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was an okay beer overall. I didn’t find it particularly impressive, but it was certainly a drinkable offering.

Pours a clear golden yellow on tap worth fluffy white dissipating head. Aroma of bready grain and sweet toffee. Taste follows, crisp and clean. Not bad.

Clear medium red amber with persistent head cover and a curtain of lace. Taste is clean caramel malt that grows smoothly through the palate until hop bittering is literally unveiled, closing it with a nice balance. Very well conceived, well executed.
