Can from the LCBO. Clear bright yellow-gold with a slight greenish tinge. Aroma of slightly fermented apples, quite natural and inviting. Crisp body with a nice level of carbonation. Flavour is really enjoyable, tasting of fresh Macintosh and Empire apples, not too sweet & not too tart. It may not have the complex character of an artisanal craft cider, but it also lacks the cloying chemical-tasting notes found in many of the large scale commercial ciders. A really pleasant and welcome surprise.

Can [473ml]. Pours a clear pale yellow-gold with an average size diminishing fizzy white head. Some green hues to it depending how you look. Surprisingly decent and clean aroma of sweet apples and apple juice. Flavour follows with sweet apples, slightly tart apples and apple juice. Not overly sweet. Good carbonation. Average bodied. Like I said, surprisingly pretty good.

Wow... this is a cider that seems like real apple juice. Not too sweet like most, not too dry. Can’t even feel the alcohol. Just like fresh pressed red apples. Taste is a little lighter than the nice scent. No apple candy adjunct here. Just a nice natural cider.

Can: Poured a clear yellow color cider with strong carbonation. Aroma consists of medium sweet apple with not much else in terms of characteristics. Taste is dominated by some mildly sweet apple juice with a bland finish and some very limited complexity. Not bad but no great flaw either.

[4938-20121115] 473mL can. Mouldy peas and applesauce aroma. Clear, bright yellow body with a quick bubbly head. Sweetened apples and fruit skins flavour. Medium body. Fair, quite sweet. (6/2/6/3/13) 3.0

2012-11-15. Crisp bubbly pale yellow body is headless after the initial white froth subsides. Aroma of apples, apple cores, mild apple juice, very muted musty dusty touches around it. Flavour is similar, sweet apple juice, notes of apple cores and dried apples, apple seeds in the finish. Something familiar that I can not quite place. Average to light bodied palate. Just okay, but surprisingly quaffable while chilled, Can from LCBO, Toronto

LCBO can. Interesting product for the Brick to make. Pours a clear yellow with greenish highlights and zero head. Aroma is pretty nice, straight up apples but not synthetic, nor overly sour like green apples, just nice sweet apples with a charming hint of booze. Flavour is very pleasing, sweet apple varieties, only the most minor sourness and the sweetness is actually in check. Carbonation is medium and not abrasive. Lingering apple sweetness on the palate. I like this because of its balance, it’s not overly boozy, or artificial, or overly sour. Solid drink from the Brick.

473ml can from the LCBO. pours pale yellow/green, light carbonation. light fermented apple nose, genuine, quite nice for a macro cider. flavour is light playful apple wine, appropriate carbonation highlights the base flavour. way better then i thought itd be.

Palegolden pour, no head. Semi tart apple aroma, some pear too. Lively carb, active mouthfeel. Dry, crisp tart apple finish. Quite refreshing, pretty good stuff.
