Less weird and more immediately likable than other Mortal beers I’ve tried. Thanks again Sebastian for sharing. 33 cL pours golden-amber, nicely laced and tall white head that recedes. Spicy, grainy, dry-herbal nose. Inviting. Flavor is lightly sweet, a bit fruity, going peppery and slightly dry, with an odd tang in the back of the throat. Enjoyable but unfortunately not very representative of the rest of Mortal’s beers.

Bottle sampled at Delirium Café. Pours a clear dark golden color with a thick, bubbly, white head. Solid aroma of flowers, hops and yeast. Very good flavor of flowers, hay, hops, fruits and yeast with a dry presence in the end. The body is light with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. I finally get to try a Mortals and I’m impressed.

courtesy of Sido and Titof - cloudy bright orange colour with a little foam; aroma of melon and apricot; some yeasty notes; fizzy and quite full-bodied; initially sweet with a decent bitterness; long bitter aftertaste of bitter oranges with more yeasty notes

Bottled. Hazy amber, small head. Fruity plum aroma. Sweet with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Notes of soil, bread and orange. While warming the flavours open up and it becomes more attractive.
