can. pours hazy dark ruby with a small light beige-orange head, some retention and lacing. sweet fruity malts - strawberry and kiwi-like (!), sweetish nuts, toasted munich and caramel, some sweetness - plain brown sugar and caramel, pepper, touch of dirt and metal, hint of fusel and garbage. moderate carboantion, light body - oily, semi-sweet grassy-spicy-piney-peppery-mineral-metallic finish. blah.

Bottle. Pours a reddish amber with a lasting offwhite head. Aroma is hoppy, some floral spice. Taste is slightly bitter, some floral hoppiness, with a caramel malt undertone. Warming mouthfeel; finish is a floral hoppiness. "Suprisingly good", to quote a pointy eared fellow...

355 ml bottle. Pours a reddish amber colour with a large, long lasting, beige head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of malt, caramel and light fruit. Sweet caramel malty flavour with a slightly dry, hoppy, bitter finish. Light body, watery to slightly oily texture and average carbonation. My expectations were pretty low after looking at the label but I was pleasantly surprised.

This ale poured a deep amber colour with an light brown, rocky head. No lacing. Scents include sweet malt, ripe fruit, caramel and molasses. First swig was smooth with very light carbonation. Flavours of malt, ripe fruit and medium hop. Finish is malty as hell with a little bitterness.

Pours dark amber with a quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is at first greasy french fries from the chip truck. Peanut oil. After I get by that it’s caramel and earthy malts. Taste is cardboard and sickly sweet caramel. I knew I should have stayed away. I have a craving for french fries now.

smell is of caramel, butterscotch maybe chocolate. Smell is light/medium & good smelling. A bit of a fast pour=lots of head some stays a bit some fades fast some lacing to one finger. A red ale. Taste is NOT what I smell, I get a high medium bodied to low heave bodied beer that is juicy with some bitterness on some sips. A good tasty malty juicy taste. I don;t love this but I do like it. Star trek themed can and for Vulcan Alberta’s 2013 centennial celebrations. Brewed @ Pluti’s Moon Beer Co in Calgary,Alberta but a product of USA. Not listed on can but some say something was done to this product also in Minasota. Cheer’s!!!!! \V/
