12 oz bottle. Poured with a small, lasting, beige head. Some lacing. Heavy malt, roasted coffee, and a touch of chocolate as well. Pleasant to your nose. Taste is similar to the aroma. Average carbonation. Has a creamy yet dry finish. I can drink a 6 pack with ease, It’s worth a try if you can get a fresh bottle. I would buy again.

Bottle. Pours a dark mahogany brown with a slightly off-white head. Smells of chocolate, caramel, coffee. Taste is similar, a lot of nuts and a lot of coffee too. Not something I’d go out of my way to get, but easy to drink here.

Brown color. Slight malt aroma. Sweet nutty malt flavor. Smooth feel in mouth. Nice brown ale.

On tap at Sebago Portland , ME location. Pours out dark amber/brown topped with a small tan head. Aroma was of rich malts, nuts, light coffee, and caramel. Taste was exactly the same with the rich malts pulling away from everything else. A fair brown ale.

Draught, 4.8% at the brewpub. Subtle but good roasted aroma. Very dark brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is also roasted, a bit like the aroma, but slightly watery. Still nice, though.

Pours mostly flat. Nose is a milky amalgamation of cheese curds, scallion, and salt. Even milkier flavor, very unpleasantly so, with a similar mouthfeel. Gross.

On tap in Portland. This is a dark brown brew with minor head and carbonation. Very malty profile. Coffee-toffee thing going on here. Finishes smooth. Not all that bad. A decent brown ale.

Bottle. Brown opaque pour with a medium tan head. Aroma of hazlenut and malt. Medium body. Great taste of brown sugar, sweet malt, caramel and hazlenut with faint coffee in the finish. I really liked this, not sure why it doesn’t get more love.

Brown pour with a beige head. Aroma is toffee, nuttiness, a light light roast and some dried fruit. Flavor is much the same, nuttye and sweet, toffee malt character. Drinkable but not thin persay. Not bad
