Forget the malty, give me flowers flowing and hopping out of my IPA. Not easy to switch to another beer, it makes other IPA’s that I like a lot seem a little too malty in immediate comparison. Cheers to you, cliff jumping freaks! I will drink your six pack and not regret it one bit ( as long as I have no late night whiskey!)

Among the greater joys in life is that I once spent every May & June on Lake Sebago and have taken the plunge off Frye’s Leap itself. Now that I’m no longer in Maine, I take comfort in this hoppy, wonderous beer. Bottoms up!
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 boomerbrew (137) - Texas, USA - MAR 18, 2013
On tap at "Great Lost Bear" in Portland, Maine. Aroma was hoppy like any other IPA. Gold with off white head. Great hop florals taste that was nice on palate. This was my favorite of the three Sebago styles. Nice overall.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2012, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.
Clear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light heavy hoppy, pine, grapefruit, orange - citrus, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120807]
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 hockeybeerguy (212) - Portland, Maine, USA - JAN 16, 2013
It was clear and golden in color. The head was moderately sized, slightly bubbly, and off-white. It left just a bit of lacing. The smell had some herbs to it, but mainly orange and just a bit of pine as well. The taste was mildly sweet and floral, the orange comes back ever so slightly. The palate was medium also with a medium carbonation with a decently strong body. Overall, it is a very drinkable beer that I would come back to.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2013 Very bitter but good citrus and pine aroma. I’d buy it again.

Burnt orange with a 2 finger head. taste is very bitter. simcoe and centennial. very bitter for the ABV so it lacks balance. Lots of pine resin and chewy. Hint of grapefruit.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 BeerSquare (114) - - NOV 30, 2012
This is a pretty good IPA that doesn’t compare to some of the other truly awesome IPAs from Maine, and elsewhere in the NE.
It has a nice crispness to it, especially on tap, but to me it is held back by a slight wateriness, and too restrained a flavor.
It’s an IPA that doesn’t really have a dominant thing about it, which is a big thing missing for an IPA. . . but what is there tastes fine.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 zgaier (695) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - NOV 5, 2012
Pours a hazy orange with an off white head and aroma of hops and grapefruit. Taste is bitter, of hops, grapefruit, floral notes, caramel, and grass with a medium bitter finish. Drinkable, solid IPA that goes down easy.
