COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lake Trout Stout is Midnight black with a thick and creamy head. It is a full body stout brewed with oatmeal and plenty of hops to balance the roasted barley. Our stout is an experience. It tastes the same way it looks dark and rich. You will preceive it as thick and chewy and our Lake Trout stout delivers. It is named after the famous deep water Sebago Lake Togue or Lake Trout which inhabit the depths of Maine’s deepest lake. Enjoy.

Draft in Scarborough Fair. Black, thick beige head with good retention and a solid curtain of lacing. Aroma of rich dark bittersweet chocolate. Taste is bitter cacao. Nice. Light body.

Pours an inky black with almost no head. When held up to the light, it looks pretty thin. Aromas of a pretty solid roast with some bitter chocolate. Pretty nice aroma, actually. Taste is some heavy roast, some marshmallow, perhaps a bit of coffee. Thn mouthfeel detracts from this one. Pretty good overall.

12 oz bottle pours a dark black with tan head. Roasted malt aroma. Dark chocolate and a bit of a hop taste. Very light for a stout.

It had a nice creamy tan head that left a thin lacing behind. It had a dark brown body. It had a generous roasted malt aroma that rose from the oats and barley flavoring. There were some dark fruits on it. I noticed a roasted perhaps burnt malt in the flavor with a touch of espresso. The palate was medium and it had a dry finish. Overall, this was a good American Stout that I would have again.

Pours a dark brown black color, with a big head. Nose is mild chocolate and espresso. Taste is more bitter than sweet, and light chocolate and coffee. Carbonation is heavy with a full texture. Finish is bitter and somewhat lasting. An average sweet stout. Quaff Score 6 / 10

Pours black with a brown head and aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is sweet, of roasted malt, chocolate, and caramel with a burnt, toasty, bitter finish. Light stout but not great

Pitch black, 1 finger heather head. Very creamy lactose nose and taste. Hint of chocolate and smoke. Lots of coffee and oatmeal. Some brown sugar. The barley dominates this.

This beer pours nearly black with a medium tan head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and hops. Light to medium body with a sweet roasted malt character along with notes of hops and coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Pours black with a medium tan head...good lacing. Aroma has roasty dark fruit. Flavor has bitter dark chocolate and smoky dark fruit. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish has a smoky roasty note and mild band aid.

22 ounce bottle. Pours an opague black color topped by a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, espresso and dark chocolate. Flavor upfront is dark roasted malts reminiscent of espresso beans with peppery undertones. Mid taste is more coffee-like with bittersweet chocolate, oats and some worcestershire notes. Finish is more bitter and the hops show up. Overall, a nice stout that offers complexity and smoothness that should appeal to those who enjoy the style.
