COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lake Trout Stout is Midnight black with a thick and creamy head. It is a full body stout brewed with oatmeal and plenty of hops to balance the roasted barley. Our stout is an experience. It tastes the same way it looks dark and rich. You will preceive it as thick and chewy and our Lake Trout stout delivers. It is named after the famous deep water Sebago Lake Togue or Lake Trout which inhabit the depths of Maineís deepest lake. Enjoy.

Sebago Lake Trout Stout is a brown-black ale with a thin brown head that fades. It has a very roasty, chocolate, coffee aroma. It smells so roasty! Itís quite full bodied and quite smooth. The finish is slightly gritty. Itís bitter and roasty with chocolate and coffee notes. Thereís a touch of anise at the finish. Itís a wicked solid American stout.

[tap] Tons of chocolate and coffee in the nose, with quite a bit of dried fruit that include prunes. Opaque black under a thick, lacy top. Tons of chocolate in the flavour with sweet, dark malts and a dark malt bitterness that comes off as a bit dry in the end. Lasting coffee flavour, light to medium body, low carbonation, moderately bitter chocolate finish.

Bomber; thin cola brown with spotty off-white head; thin aromas of coffee and light chocolate; soft texture with light flavor profile; stale coffee, mild roast and a little chocolate; very light and kind of simple overall

Dark mahogany pour with a 1/2 inch khaki foam that left a spot or two inside the glass. Lots of dark roasted malt and coffee, accompanied by ash. Burnt marshmallow, caramel, and brown sugar as well. Medium mouthfeel. Solid.

Sampled from the bottle at the 2010 February Circle City Tasting. Poured a dark brown with a very small brown head. Aroma was full of roasted malts throughout, a bit one note. Flavor was similar and one note with roasted malts. Not particularly sweet.

Thanks to Susep for the bottle. Dark pour with a thin beige head. Heavy roast on the nose. Body is thin. Bitter roasted malts upfront with a hint of coffee. Dry smokey finish

Pours a dark black. Great head with aggressive pour. Cream, dark tan with great lacing. Delicious roasted malt aroma. Chocolate and caramel fills the nose. Tastes of coffee. Strong hop presence. Sweet roasted malts balance. Medium on the palate. Carbonation at good levels. Slightly fizzy. This beer has fantastic aroma. Good flavor, but a tad hoppy. Very good.

Dark brown / black with a small, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, oatmeal, cocoa, and light smoke. Taste of sweeter chocolate, roasted malts, oatmeal, and caramel, with a dry, roasty finish.
