Imaena (243), Portland, Maine, USA Jun 18, 2008 Draught @Brewpub. Not my style but I tried to like it. A mass appeal beer that is not inventive or flavorful. It does well on the carb front and there is some hop flavor floating around in there that puts it past the commercial beer. kassner (146), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA May 12, 2008 Portland Brew Pub. Draft. For a light Ale a lot of hop flavor, light Gold in Color and some very nice buttery notes which seemed to be present in most of the sebago beers. Not too much carbonation and some lacing. Overall quite a nice light Ale and overall I liked Sebago argo0 (6176), Washington DC, USA Jul 15, 2007 (draft, S.Portland) Off-white head atop clear apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, peach, some apricot, spice/earthy. Taste is medium sweet, peach, caramel, some spice/grass/earthy, light orange. Watery light-medium body, some crispness. Surprisingly tasty for a "masses" beer, though perhaps it should serve as a warning that people shouldn’t discount a beer for its name. ruggedman (416), Portland, Maine, USA Oct 3, 2006 I put this off for long enough...time to finally rate this one. Pours a light golden pale yellow. Light fizzyness. Goes down extremely well, watery, and not too inspiring. There’s some watered down hop taste in there, but really not much to speak of. Deffinately one for the lighter lovers out there. CapFlu (3292), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Apr 18, 2006 (Draught) Ya say, "CapFlu - this ia a light beer"... I know. It is but its beautiful. Pours a thin, white head with a clear lightly carbonated light gold body. Nose is very lemonyu and rather West Coast hoppy. Tad thin in texture yet robust hops in front of a mild citrus lingering and a good tart finish. Very, very enjoyable... especially for a Light Ale.
