(Rating #5268)

Pours clear golden/lt amber with a medium white head...decent lacing. Aroma is nearly non-existent with the exception of a touch of lightly roasted malt and a faint dusty/moldy note. Flavor has some chalky roastiness and dry leaves...light caramel. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is grassy/leafy/spicy and dry.

Draught @ the location across from the Maine Mall: The beer pours without too much head. There isn't any lacing down the glass either. The color is a bit of a lighter amber. There is a big grapefruit nose of hops. There is some maltiness to the taste, with more than its fair share of bitterness. This tastes more like an IPA than an Oktoberfest.

Not bad but like most New England Oktoberfest’s, this is a bit too hoppy for the style.
