from BotM club. Nice reddish/orange color, faint head, a bit of haze. Sweet nose. Malt is first taste, hint of hops but sweetness fills back in at the end. Kind of bland and not too crisp. Tastes a bit cheap and not to smooth.

Burnt malt body. Spice, fig, plum, apple lend to its overtly sweet character. Some citrus notes with unpleasant wood tones.

12oz bottle pours a murky amber/brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, yeast, slight hops, and grain. Taste of caramel and grain, with sweet malts. Overall pretty empty flavors.

Bottle from Cavie. Deep orange pour with a big white head. Aroma is faint and mostly burned caramel with some spice. Taste is more burned caramel. Not too slick.

Fresh 12oz pour courtesy of gifted Beer of the Month Club! Sorry about bragging, but what an awesome gift for a beer lover. Okay, the beer...nice mahogany color accompanied by little or no head. Balanced well with some spicy notes. 1st try from Sebago Brewing.

Poured a clear amber color with a tan head that had no retention. Aroma had strong caramel malts and milt bread malts, some spiciness to it. Probably nutmeg and almost a hint of rye. Flavor was mostly sweet, not cloying but still sweet. Some spice and biscuit flavors balanced it out enough to prevent a cloying flavor. A smooth finish, mildly carbonated. A little to easy to drink.
