It has a handsome amber-brown tone with virtually no head and limited lacing. The aroma is a tad hoppy with a bit of caramel malts. Medium mouthfeel. The taste is slightly sweet but bitter. Bittersweet? It was kind of nice but nothing out of the ordinary. jcwattsrugger (5583), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 27, 2009 Tap GLB. Simple winter brew for me. Not too powerful or complex and had very simple flavors. Thin body and weak. Rastacouere (5566), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 12, 2009 Sedimented auburn. Lacy beige lasting head. Malt oriented nose can’t hide soft, but off-putting plastic notes. Besides, we’re dealing with a gingerbread type of medley with toasty, but loose maltiness, avoiding most fruitiness besides an orangey tang, but heading towards a lively, albeit untied floral noble hop finish. Minimal spiciness. Rather shy mouth presence as the texture feels mostly.. spongey. Has good elements, ain’t overly sweet, but feels poorly integrated. 6ROW (275), corpus christi, Texas, USA
