3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep gold. No head. Malty, slightly herbal aroma. Lots of malt, herbal saaz and appetizing bitterness. Good balance. Tasty. Not really a pilsner, but a good 14P svetly.

Draft @ brewpub. Dark coppery gold, nice color. Poured with no head, would look so much better in proper glass with a head but whatever. Second visit got pitcher and it gave nice head to the beer so yeah it’s nice. Slight diacetyl in aroma, then bright pale malt and distinct earthy hop and mushroom character. At first I do not like but upon revisiting I like. Palate is thick and soft, and buttery. Personally I would prefer a lighter, lower grav version that was more refreshing but after all it does go down well. Has a really nice hop character, which is leafy in the body, and is very balanced by big malt backbone.
