Sampled from the tap at the Railyard location. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of light grains and light bread with a hint of grass underlying. Flavor is similar with light sweet grains and just hints of bread and grass.

Pale straw and hazy. Vague continental hop nose. Similar palate. Light fruit and some bubblegum. Hmmm...lots of QC issues on their German-style stuff lately.

Tap at train station location-bright yellow with a fizzy white head. spicy and sulfur on the nose-smells more like a pils than a kolsch. a hint of diacytl comes up but it is VERY lite. grainy and sweet flavors with a lot of toasted grain on the finish. very preasant and crisp body. long dry finish, where the hops only really show up at the finish. very good stuff!

On tap at the brewpub in August 2009. Reviewed from notes. Pours a light, clear straw color with plenty of visible carbonation. The nose brings forward a very light hoppy character as well as some grain. The taste is mostly just raw grain with some really mild fruit. The feel is prickly and light. No off flavors, but just didn’t really bring much of any flavor at all. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 10-24-2010

Draught. Good malt aroma, sweet with hay and grass notes. Clear straw-gold with no head. Very good flavor with an immensely crisp middle and sweet maltiness. Exceptional balance, very clean and drinkable. A very fine example of the style.
