33 cl. bottle @ café de Zaak, Utrecht. Hazy yellow with a white head. Wheat aroma and some other grains, probably the oats and the buckwheat. Great malty yeasty taste, kinda like a mix between a German hefeweizen and Tripel Karmeliet. Great beer.

Aroma -fruity, caramel, herbs, and yeast. Appearance - yellow body; liquid is cloudy with some nice nucleation; head sets up at about 2" and white and fades into a layer of foam. Taste - is very unique with very interesting early and late tones - early there isn’t much, but then it arcs from caramel to a sort of a cider like white fleshed fruit. There is a sort of paper-like quality as well. Palate - body is light; texture is thin and effervescent; carbonation is lively; finish is variable over a course of time. During the initial sip, it doesn’t take off, but then after settling it goes through a sort of arc of finishes to approach a nice cider like finish with a lot of fizz.

33 cl bottle. Pours a full yellow with white head that doesn’t last. Aroma: spice and orange. It tastes much the same with earthy notes. Palate: it is flat and watery. Overall: decent beer.

Aroma is Belgian yeast, mild earthy notes and a hard to describe background. The flavor is citrus, lemon, an almost aged in stone quality, malts and a tart/tangy finish.

@ Vino Bellissimo / Lima OH --- Hazy dirty golden amber, good 1/2" head retention, splashes of lace. Nice looking. Taste is sweet caramel malt with yeast bread that moves to brisk carbonation to keep things in balance. A very drinkable brew, but a little heavy and syrupy in the finish.

This is the real deal. Fantastic foam with great retention. The aroma is clearly Belgian. I have a hard time describing this, but this yeast produces a very specific aroma and taste. The taste does not disappoint. Wonderful Belgian ale! Buy it if you can find it.

Pours a hazy pale yellow with a very large somewhat loose, fluffy white head.

The aroma is sweet, fruity, doughy, & spicy. Some pear, some whole wheat bread... nice enough smelling.

The flavor is very banana forward, it’s got a good dosing of spice and a light lemon rind character. There is some spicy alcohol & some whole grain bread. In many ways a sort of typical Belgian Blonde ale, but then it’s got some interesting depth to it.

Perhaps not something I’d drink with great frequency, but certainly an enjoyable glass of beer.
