Opaque yellow with fluffy white foam head. Weak aroma, little barley. Quite normal barley taste, not an outstanding beer. (Antwerpen 201409)

33cl. bottle. Really fruity in the aroma. Fruitiness in the taste as well, but not too sweet. A Hoegaarden mixed with blond beer? A very nice beer, really refreshing, leaves you wanting more.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow gold with a large white head. Aromas are light grapefruit with woody yeasty notes and strawberry. Floral and peppery with alcohol. Flavours are lemony yeast with spices and lots of woodiness. Dry with a nasty bitterness.

Minor obscurity unearthed at Lutterworth Wine Cellars. Burnished gold with a flattening white foam. Aroma of TCP, mulled green apple, mauby, Bazooka chews and wildly overdone spice. Dominant spoiling wildly overdone spice and TCP yeast flavour with background pear, calamine, cider and ginger. Imbalanced and not much fun. Big disappointment.

Pours a hazy orangey gold color with thick white head that dissipates relatively quickly. Aroma is a mix of funky, musty, fruity elements that doesn’t sit that well with me. Flavor starts malty and sour like a very green apple or lemon, then a musty grain element comes to the front, with mild hops bitterness and an almost vinegary sourness. The finish is malty and bitter. I love Belgian and Belgian-style beers, but this one I’m in no hurry to drink ever again. I’ll spend my dollars on something I like much better next time.

Hazy yellow coloured beer. Medium head, medium carbonation. Really fruity in the aroma. Fruitiness in the taste as well, but it isn’t turning too sweet. Actually you have a slight sourness (don’t really like sour beer, but this isn’t ruining this beer actually giving it more richness). Little spicey, citrus fruitiness. A very nice beer, really refreshing, leaves you wanting more.

Bottle. Hazy pale blonde colour with a large white head. The aroma is vague and lemon-ish with yeast. Sterile. Sweet, kind of fresh, very dry. Average.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours hazy pale yellow, thin white head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, light spice, bread. Taste brings a citrus note, more yeasty zing, and a light sweetness. Medium body, creamy texture, bit thin at the end. Not bad.
