330 ml bottle. A slightly hazy golden body with a big white head. Mild but delicate in aroma, light malt, white sugar, yeasty fruitiness Saison style. Flavor is mild pale malt, fruity, spicy, gentle bitterness and white sugar. It reminds me a lot about a Saison. Medium body with a long and pleasant aftertaste. Nice and refreshing. Quite a positive surprise this one.

courtesy of fiulijn - clear golden beer with a persistent white foam; estery nose with notes of apples and pears; sweet and chewy, sticky, full-bodied; residual sweetness in a long estery fruity finish, quite yeasty

Tap at an Antwerp restaurant. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is light acid citrus banana. The flavour is light sour with a wheaty citrus palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Nice Belgian wheat beer - a bit bigger and sturdier than a wit. First had after 2014 DVV Antwerp 5k. Brewed by ex-Duvel guy apparently - same bottle anyway.

Aroma: floral, lemon, wheat, yeast, a little candy sugar Palate: well-carbonated, light-medium body. Flavor: Very much like the nose. Comment: Pleasant summer drink without being overly light. Flavorful and refreshing.

Clear golden with bubbely white heAd. Fresh citrus and lots of herbs. Nice bitter touch with some vegetal notes and light funk. Some champagne notes as well. Nice crisp almost champagne like ale, nice stuff.

Bottle from Sugaya. Yeasty, floral nose. Hazy pale straw color, thin flimy white head. Light wheaty initial, mild hopping, some very ripe frutiness (even a touch phenolic!). Alc. is rather noticeable. Thin-medium body. Thin body. Overall, quite fruity, but flavors are sort of distressed and don’t stand out at any point.

Bottle. Nice label! Pours a perfectly golden color with perfect foam head for a lager. Aromas are Pilsner, but with some notable additional smells: Belgian mayonnaise (the good kind, slightly sour), vinager, hint of citrus and German Weissen. I like it. First taste is sour with a hint of copper. This mellows down to a sour Pilsner style, but much more robust (definitely not watery). The good aromas now give off their lesser qualities: mostly slightly sour mayonnaise (the bad kind). Its not overwhelming, but sort of permeates and retreats the palate along the way. Admittedly, the experience turns a little watery half way down the bottle. Still, good Pilsner that’s worth the effort of finding.

Sampled form a stubby bottle bought at Champanes, this ale had a hazy yellow-gold pour and presented a large, fluffy white head that just about filled the glass, I had to stop pouring to let the foam subside a bit before pouring the rest of the beer into the glass, it left lots of sticky lacing on the sides of the glass as the cover retreated, the nose had aroma of light banana, some light malt with pale floral scents, a bit of dough, there was a good amount of malt and fruit like sweetness, as the beer warmed up, the banana, citrus and floral scents became a little bigger on the nose, the flavors were very light malt and bread with light pear like fruit, citrus, and a touch of sweetness, the finish had just a hint of pepper spice, light citrus and malt following, the mouth feel was light with a bit of a creamy feel, it had lively carbonation, it had a nice nose of flowers, malt and light fruit, with some floral scents, the flavor was similar with pear like fruit, the nose was sweeter and bigger than the flavor, a nice drink.
