330 ml bottle. A slightly hazy golden body with a big white head. Mild but delicate in aroma, light malt, white sugar, yeasty fruitiness Saison style. Flavor is mild pale malt, fruity, spicy, gentle bitterness and white sugar. It reminds me a lot about a Saison. Medium body with a long and pleasant aftertaste. Nice and refreshing. Quite a positive surprise this one.

0.33 l bottle from local Albert Heijn, best before 10/12/2016. Cloudy, golden yellow with a huge, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Fruity-spicy aroma of lemon peel, apricot and vanilla with hints of banana. Sweetish-sourish, fruity-spicy taste of lemon peel, apricot, banana, vanilla and cloves, followed by a medium long, slightly sourish and yeasty finish. Medium body, effervescent and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very witbier-like, refreshing and nicely balanced brew. More on the spicy than on the fruity side with a lot of foam on your palate. Nice!

Light golden, slightly hazy, with a thick white head that dissipates quickly, leaving no lacing. Aroma is Weizen-like: clove and banana, but with a Belgian twist: some peppery, yeasty notes make an appearance. Also some floral notes. Taste: slight cereal, some banana and pepper, also apple. Noticeable acidity and minimal sweetness. Alcohol is detectable. Low bitterness. Very high carbonation, medium body. Not a particularly great beer. There’s nothing above average about it, and the crazy high carbonation + alcohol in the taste disturb a bit. Otherwise, the beer is OK, but just OK.

Draught. Pours clear golden with solid white head. Aroma of peach, spiceks, malt and hint of herbs. In taste rather sweet with fruity and spicy notes. Low bodied, low herbal bitterness in the finish. Suprisingly tasty.

Its a nice beer, but a bit on the sweet side to call it a belgium blonde in my opinion! Nice citrus tones with a hint of coriander.

330ml bottle [thanks again bartlebier for yet another Belgian import!].Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Floral yeasty, minimally herbal aroma, slightly bready, pale malty background, hints of mustard. Taste is minimally bready pale malty, fruity, notes of apple, pear, hints of nectarine, floral and spicy, yeasty overtones, a mild touch of caraway; minimally watery.

Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer is hazy yellow colored and pours a stable and large white head, with livingly CO2. The aroma is spicy, with also light tones of vanilla, cloves, bananas and citrus. The taste is refreshing and soft. The Co2 is well noticable, and combines perfectly with the fruity tones of tangerines and the spiciness of nutmeg. This beer is light bitter in the end, which is very pleasant. The finish is short with light tones of cinnamon and vanilla.

330ml bottle from Beer me up Scotty, Shrewsbury Market Hall. Kinda liked the label so bought on impulse. Wish I’d not bothered really. A bit unspectacular, a little sweet for a Belgian blonde with a slight breadiness coming through. Ok, but that’s it.

Bottle at Spaarbank,Tilburg. Hazy yellow color, medium-sized white head. Grassy hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Light fruity, Belgian yeasty flavor. Some grassy notes but otherwise low bitterness. More or less unexciting blonde.

Veel prijzen gewonnen blijkbaar, maar mij kan t me niet echt bekoren. Wat zurig, wat wit bier, licht hoppig. Tis een mengelmoes van alles en werkt daardoor niet echt voor mij.
