machfive55 (218), Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 27, 2008 I was pretty impressed with this one. A nice golden color with a good solid head and carbonation, the aroma is fruity and there is a prominent fruitiness to the flavor that is almost raspberry. As the name suggests it is quite creamy, an awesome texture, and very easy to drink. I put down a half growler of this in no time. Slightly high alcohol for a cream ale. Awesome job by the crew at Selin’s Grove. fredandboboflo (1395), East Setauket, New York, USA Oct 31, 2008 Tap. Aroma of grains, sweet malt, a certain fruitiness that I couldn’t put my finger on, something in the yellow-orange range. Flavor features the sweet malt, fairly bland, something a little funky, probably I refer to the yogurt yeast quality acrdz mentions. Fairly creamy. Not bad, but nothing I’d return to. LilBeerDoctor (1480), East Setauket, New York, USA Oct 27, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light orange with a white head. Aroma of grainy malt, peach and apricot. Flavor of sweet malt, light fruits, banana, and light bitter hops. This is very drinkable and tasty. Nice cream ale! hopdog (5526), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 26, 2008 On tap at the Selins Grove Brew Pub. Poured a medium golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of corn, some breadiness, and lightly floral. Tastes of basically the same. stangger (155), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 15, 2008 On tap at Selin’s Grove brewpub. Golden pour with only a hint of hoppiness and a mild yeasty/lager-like aroma. Taste is a melding of ale and lager; slightly corny, but smooth and creamy. Very light and drinkable. mj (4971), Colorado, USA Jul 27, 2008 Pint at Selins Grove. Clear honey colored body with a white head. Very smooth and creamy palate - fresh and light without smelling or tasting shallow. A light note of creamed corn (lightly sweet), and smooth throughout the drink, with a wheat/gritty/creamy texture in the finish. Nice, inoffensive flavors of wheat and corn and cracker barley, little to no hop presence, and a medium presence of creamy, yogurt yeast. Easy to drink. beerbill (1918), Laurel, New York, USA Jul 21, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a thin-moderate linen white head that faded to a ring after about a quaretr of the glass and left light lace. Light aroma of malt and a bit of fruit. Flavor is malt, apples, and a bit of bread. Light bitterness at the finish. Very nice cream ale. Miver (551), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 28, 2007 Draft at Brew pub. Pours gold color with thin white head. Not a very complex beer to rate, but it had a light cream taste with a nice smooth sweet clean finish. Creamed corn anyone?
