Poured a medium golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of corn, some breadiness, and lightly floral. Tastes of basically the same. mj (4975), Colorado, USA Jul 27, 2008 Pint at Selins Grove. Clear honey colored body with a white head. Very smooth and creamy palate - fresh and light without smelling or tasting shallow. A light note of creamed corn (lightly sweet), and smooth throughout the drink, with a wheat/gritty/creamy texture in the finish. Nice, inoffensive flavors of wheat and corn and cracker barley, little to no hop presence, and a medium presence of creamy, yogurt yeast. Easy to drink. Rciesla (3515), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Oct 25, 2009 Draft at Selins Grove Brewpub. Pours a pale golden body with a white head. Sweet grainy malt bill, creamy corn and vegetative, grainy and simple. I did not like this. Dickinsonbeer (3434), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Mar 1, 2005 Pale golden color with slight head. Moderately clear. Aroma is clean with faint hints of hops and some light malt character. A bit of corn in the flavor, but smooth and slightly sweet in the end with a fair bitterness to round it out. Very easy drinking light cream ale. TomDecapolis (3130), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 12, 2009 Tap at Selins Grove. Pours a translucent golden with a medium creamy white lacing head. Aroma of creamed corn, light citrus and cereal grains. Flavor of banana, corn, citrus and cereal grains. Kind of on the sweet side. Nate (2533), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 15, 2007 On tap at the brewery. A mild hops aroma with a bit of neutral fruit sweetness. Golden clear with white lacing head. Medium light body with mild soft carbonation. Mild ale, light malt graininess and neutral sweetness. Mild hops with smoothness toward finish. Clean mild sweet after. Light corn taste. Not a high scorer but it’s a nice cream ale. kramer (2407), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 8, 2005 Tap at brewpub. Dark gold pour with small white head. Light malt aroma with a little corn showing thru. Light hop aroma as well. Pretty good flavor given the style. Clean and lightly malty with some corn flavor and a little fruitiness. Light bodied with soft carbonation leaving a crisp finish. Not the most interesting of styles, but this is a really good example of what can be produced even with some corn in the grain bill.
