Commercial Description:
A true American style. This smooth delicately hopped ale uses a percentage of corn to give it it's golden color and clean distinct taste.

On tap at the brewery. A mild hops aroma with a bit of neutral fruit sweetness. Golden clear with white lacing head. Medium light body with mild soft carbonation. Mild ale, light malt graininess and neutral sweetness. Mild hops with smoothness toward finish. Clean mild sweet after. Light corn taste. Not a high scorer but it’s a nice cream ale.

Tap @ the brewpub and a wonderful surprise, probably the best damn Cream Ale I ever had. Color is lightly hazy dark straw with visible carbonation. Has a medium sized head that never fully fades. Aroma is strong white biscuit maltiness with some sweat pea (in a good way, which may be putting the "cream’ aspect into this beer). Some light hops coming through. Flavor is what one should expect, some indistinct hops and a clean white bread maltiness. Simple, refreshing, and good. This was perfect for the outdoor seating at Selins Grove on a hot spring day.

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a medium white head. Aroma of orange peel, zesty lemon, corn and yeast. Taste of corn malts, orange peel, zesty lemon and grains.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a slightly cloudy yellow gold with a white head. The aroma was lightly malty and dry with a touch of citrus. The flavor was tart, tangy and sweetish with a lemony undertone and a long tart finish. Easily the best cream ale that I have had.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours hazy straw yellow with thin white head. The aroma is lemon and grains and a few peppery spice notes. The flavor is very grainy, with some sweet fruity yeast. It takes on a serious cornmeal taste toward the finish. Pretty well made, but cream ales aren’t my thing.

Sample platter. Very little aroma, with a golden offwhite head. Golden in class with minimal clouding. Red fruit and cream with hints of peach on the tongue. Silky palate, overall enjoyable.

I was pretty impressed with this one. A nice golden color with a good solid head and carbonation, the aroma is fruity and there is a prominent fruitiness to the flavor that is almost raspberry. As the name suggests it is quite creamy, an awesome texture, and very easy to drink. I put down a half growler of this in no time. Slightly high alcohol for a cream ale. Awesome job by the crew at Selin’s Grove.

Tap. Aroma of grains, sweet malt, a certain fruitiness that I couldn’t put my finger on, something in the yellow-orange range. Flavor features the sweet malt, fairly bland, something a little funky, probably I refer to the yogurt yeast quality acrdz mentions. Fairly creamy. Not bad, but nothing I’d return to.
