On tap at brewpub. Pours a clear dark brown colored body under a creamy fine bubbled light brown head with excellent retention. Aroma is very chocolaty with a light accent of smoke and chipotle peppers. Light roastiness also. Flavor starts off rather like the regular Porter, but the jalepeno really comes on strong mid swallow and even stronger on the finish. Quite burny and hot. I do love especially the light hint of smoke. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with a slightly creamy texture and moderate soft carbonation. Not a beer for everybody for sure. Pretty well ruins the palate for the rest of the evening, but by far my favorite pepper flavored beer though.
