On tap at Selin’s Grove. Pours a gently hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Sweet grain, light hops. Grainy, sweet grain with a touch of light hops. Gentle biscuit and crackers. Toast, grain, more cracker notes into the finish.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy light golden. Thick lacing. Nose is thicker vanilla, overripe melon, and orange perfume. Taste is sharper and melon heavy. Dry but not powdery. Very good. Begins melony and rich, finishing excessively dry for style. A bit of a twig and bark bitterness. Good though.

Light grassy and floral nose with a bit of biscuit and dough. Taste is lightly sweet with a touch of cracker, light honey and dough, and grassy lemon hops. Not a picture perfect traditional pils, but very yummy.

Draft at brewpub. Pours yellow with a thin white head that leaves a slight amount of lacing in the glass. Nice floral notes on the nose. Big floral notes on the tongue with a slight tinge of bitterness on the finish. Very similar of course to their pilsner, this one is also a stone cold killer.

Tap. Pours clear dark gold with a large, frothy white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is light fruity and earthy/spicy hops, cereal and grain malt, corn and a clean lager character. Flavor is malt dominant with medium hops and bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

Served on-tap at the Brewpub. A - Pours straw yellow with a small one finger tall white head leaving light lace down the glass. S - Lots of bready grain initially with hints of earthy hops, light spice, and some light sweetness help to keep things as balanced as they can but this one is pretty grainy. T - Starts off with a big dose of chewy malt that sticks around throughout. Hints of spicy and earthy hops and some light sweetness creep in as the malt begins to wean. Finish is a mix of bready malt and some light grassiness from the hops, neither lingers for very long tho. M - Light body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Crisp, slightly chewy feel that clings to the pallet initially but doesn’t stick around for very long. O - Not too bad. It is a simple beer so there isn’t a ton to say about it but I enjoyed my glass. I wouldn’t turn down another but I won’t be running up there to get just this one.

Thanks to Suttree for the chance to try this. From a growler. Pours light gold with a thin white head. Light malt and hop aroma. The flavor reminds me more of a Blond Ale than a Pils. Good but not as clean as a true Pilsner. Medium light body.

From a growler from grownfool (Thanks!). Dark orangey gold, thin ring of foam. Grainy, fruity, lightly spicy aroma. The first thing I notice when I sip it is that it is very heavy for a Pils. Not sure if that’s from being in a growler or is intentional, but I like it, nonetheless. Grainy and fruity at first, then an emphatic peppery hop bite at the end. Pretty good stuff here.
