COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A warming golden Belgian style ale, traditionally brewed by monks. Our Triple is made with Belgian candi sugar and a special Belgian yeast strain. We carefully age it to round out this beer's complex characteristics.

Tap at SG, this on 1.078 OG and 9% abv. Hazy yellow golden with a white head. Medium body, sugary with Belgian yeast character, esters, some spice and mineral spirit; off-dry, low bitterness, meringue, orange peel, dries with time and "spices out." Alcohol masterfully hidden.

Draft at the source. This is a sweetish, lightly spiced triple that is easy drinking despite its strength. Tasty.

[5665-20130817] Tap. Mild cold-cut hammy meat aroma. Hazy, pale yellow brown body with a long-lasting creamy white head and thick lacing. Ham roast and cloves flavour has a light floor cleaner aftertaste. Medium-full body is quite boozy. Interesting, great to sample. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Clear yellow pour from the brewery. White head. Aroma of candied orange peel, slight vanilla, golden raisin. Taste is sweet but clean. Not really even a hint of alcohol like the style usually presents. Very well done.

This one poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma was of candy sugar oranges, light fruit and esters. Flavor was sweet bread, candy sugar, apple skins, oranges and yeast. Tasty tripel for sure

transparent gold, fizzes out with oily wisp white head. Honey and bubblegum nose, huge esters whacking with sweetness. Light vomit and sugar at front palate, hot and sticky mid brings plastics, gravel, dirty banana and burnt sugars through the boozy, thick end. Way more bitterness for balance, up attenuation, esters should be less sweet with more floral or pepper to nuance.

Draft sample at Brewpub. Pours yellow with white head. Floral nose, bubblegum, some herbs. Herbs, thyme and coriander with floral notes. Nice and dry, mild bitter with little hop flavor. Done well.

neuromatt (1159) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 5, 2014
On tap at the brewpub, served in a tasting glass. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small white head that mostly remains and leaves a small amount of fine lace. The nose has notes of honey, flowers, apples, grapes and pale malts along with grass, cloves and a delicate spiciness. The flavour is moderately sweet with fruity and honey notes from the nose and a nice balancing spiciness with a grassy accent. The finish is long and slightly spicy. On the palate it is medium-full in body with a smooth, milky texture and average carbonation. Overall a nice tripel with an elegant fruity character. 2014-04-27

Taster glass at Selin's Grove, with ML. Pours translucent amber. White head. Nose is spicey, with notes of cloves, peppercorns, and nutmeg. Flavour delivers what the nose promises with a pleasant spicy aftertaste. The medium-full body is a nice surprise given the light colour. Easy-drinking Belgium Triple.
