Commercial Description:
A warming golden Belgian style ale, traditionally brewed by monks. Our Triple is made with Belgian candi sugar and a special Belgian yeast strain. We carefully age it to round out this beer's complex characteristics.

Absolutely fabulous beer. Beautiful golden color with a bright white head that is long lasting. The aromas are powerful, with bananna, clove, and some bready yeatiness coming through. powerful flavors, with strong malt sweetness and even a bananna note on the finish. Alcohol is a bit noticeable, but it is very enjoyable.

Poured a hazy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of hay, citrus, spices, orange peel, banana, and yeast as well. Taste of citrus fruits, chardonnay grapes, yeast, some pepper, and a touch of alcohol in the finish. Big thanks to kramer17801 for bringing this growler to the post-KSQB tasting.

On tap at the Selins Grove brew pub. Poured a cloudy orange yellow with a thick long lasting white head. Aroma was spicy and malty with a good whiff of Belgian yeast and some nice subtle hints of cinnamon. Flavor was close to a perfect blend of Belgian yeastiness, sweet candi sugar and some good malt and spice. I really detected some cinnamon and cloves but they were subtle enough not to be distracting. This was a great brew pub Belgian.

On tap at the brewery. Mild yeasty estery aroma. Honey, grain sweetness, light orange peel and blossom. Sweet sugary smell, too. Hazy golden amber with foamy lacing off-white head. Medium-light creamy body with light carbonation. Silky. Starts sweet with oranges and estery fruit notes. Light yeasty chalkiness. Sweet without being cloying. Very little bitterness. Good floral fruity notes at the finish. After is sweet with a chalky bitterness. Really true to style on this one.

On tap at the brewery. Golden pour with little head. Aroma of malts and spice. Medium palate with flavor of orange, spice, and yeast. Cove finish. A very nice Begian Tripel from an amazing brewery. Definately worth a stop.

Growler from Kramer17801, thanks. I’ve wanted to try this for some time now. Pours a cloudy hay color with small tight white head. Aroma of yeast, banans, corriander, light lemon, and belgian candy. Smooth and sweet with the flavor just like the aroma. Perfect body. Light dry sweet finish.

Draft at the HBF. I liked this one. Aroma of citrus, yeast, and big banana. Tastes triply, with a finish of citrus, more banana, cloves, and floral esters. Very nice style. Selin’s Grove came through with 2 great beers at the HBF.

Big thanks to beerbill for sharing this - hazy golden pour, with a foamy, lasting lace (the carbonation held up really well in the growler - smells of apricot, pineapple, tangerine, honey, floral character - the flavor has a bitter herb and flower quality that does a great job balancing out the honey sweetness and light grain characteristics - the fruits from the aroma become detectable through the middle - finishes with warming alcohol and lingering bitterness - a well done tripel.
