pbjclimber (150), Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 9, 2007 Draft: Pours a hazy straw color with a white head that had good lacing. Flavor is of hops, citrus, and a solid malt backround. The beer had a medium to light body and medium carbonation. It was a little unbalanced.
kramer (1956), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 14, 2007 Growler, two hours old. Pours a slightly hazy dark gold body under a moderate fizzy off-white head that fades to a very thin ring. The nose is malt forward with some light alcohol and hops. Fairly bready and doughy with some light fruitiness. The flavor is fairly doughy and crackery malt with noticable alcohol and lingering fruitiness on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate soft carbonation. Quite warming on the finish. Overall, this was OK, but not a favorite. acrdz (4489), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jun 25, 2007 Draft at the brewery. Lightly hazy golden orange colored body with a foamy, finely-bubbled white head. Fresh and tangy fruit and sweet corn flavor, tasting of overripe oranges and a bit of wheat as well. Bitter and dry, with a wonderful fruity, hoppy nose combined well with a caramel and cracker malt scent. A good beer.
