4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Aroma is doughy, clove, lemon rind. Pours slightly hazy golden with a medium off-white head with great retention; leaves lace. Taste is spices, yeasty, lightly sweet, savory, finishing with a light hoppy dry bitterness. Carbonation is fairly soft, body is medium, texture oily and a tad watery. Kind of like an American hopped Duvel. Good.

650ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a generous white head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits (likely banana) with some grassy and yeasty notes. Taste is a fruity and malty sweetness with a light citrus and grassy hop bitterness with a dry yeasty finish. Light to medium body with adequate carbonation. A decent Belgian pale ale, but nothing special.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma and appearance are right on for the style, taste is good, overall palate is a little weak, but not a bad Belgian overall. Orange amber with light silky off-white head, initial sticky lacing. Aroma of flowers, honey, sweet malt, taste is more of the same with a hint of bread. Finish is short and dry.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy light copper color with a very thick off-white head that I had to manage with a soft pour. Nose is definitely Belgian - I can get some banana, clove, and a little light citrus in there. Taste is pretty light, with a hint of citrus and some sweetness on the finish. Feels remarkably light on the palate, and almost creamy. I actually quite like it.

22 picked up today at Bier Thirty in Bown Crossing... Paid $7... Seems a little expensive for what it is. Pours a crystal clear orange with a decent enough white 1 finger head... spotty lacing.
Clove and light peppercorn combine with pale malt and fruity pear/apple essence... perhaps some banana esters too.
Flavor is a bit more yeasty than any Continental BPA’s I’ve had in a while... not necessarily a bad thing.. but plenty of fruitiness and phenolic presence for such a low ABV brew.. The banana really comes up with warmth... The yeasty fruitiness really lays long on the finish making it seem much sweeter than it is.
Across the board (IMO), the yeasty notes dominate too heavily... The malts are buried and hops are seemingly nonexistent.
Good/expected carbonation and body for the style.
Despite my above negatives, this is still a pretty good beer... I just feel it can be done better... Lesser yeasty presence and an overall drier character would produce a winner.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at SA. Pours clear amber, minimal head. Aroma: sweet saisony. Light fruity Belgian-yeasty notes. Moderately sweet, with moderate bitter finish. Some citrus. Slick texture, medium body. Overall: okay. Doesn't really have as much character as the others I've sampled so far. Some apple cider notes as well.

Golden with fluffy white head. Visible carbonation and excellent lacing.
Soft Belgian spice and noble hops with mild malt sweetness beneath.
Like the aroma, a Belgian spice followed by noble hop. Very balanced
Very dry and clean with just the right amount of carbonation.
A Clean refreshing beer. Very sessionable

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
GABF 2012, October 12, Friday. Like a light saison. Lots of yeast. A little sweet, but the palate is too light and there is a lack of complexity to this one-dimensional beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at GABF 2012. Pours a cloudy orange/yellow color with a medium white head. A sweet nose of banana and almost seems like light Brett. The flavor is a smooth spicy Belgian ale, very well made, sweet candies, banana. Good.
