Aroma of new carpet, not a bad thing for a hybrid Belgian. Beautifully clear dark amber color. From a growler. Large head on first pour that died quickly, much less on subsequent pours. A targeted bitterness. I did not get a citrus profile. Interesting local beer. Got a killer deal.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured as a taster at local shop. Pours a rich gold with off-white head. Aroma is more IPA than Belgian and the hops are apparent without the spiciness I associate with Belgian ales on the nose. Taste is also mostly IPA, citrus present, and not much spiciness.

Gold pour, big offwhite head. Hoppy aroma, hoppy flavor with mango notes and a toasty finish.

Nice take on the IPA style. Belgian yeast plays well with the American hops. Mild hoppy bitterness with a touch of the normal Belgian dried fruit sweetness. Very interesting.

Really good IPA, not too much Belgian in the way. Really nice citrus and drinkable, smooth. Caponeís.

Bomber from Hayduke that we shared via facebook chat. I rolled my bottle and had difficulty loosening the yeast but did manage. The result was a honey gold beer that was quite hazy. An off white head that has good retention and leaves fluffy lacing. An aroma that is full of tropical fruit. The first sip is very hot. That alcohol is not well hidden at all. Later fruit comes through and it is tropical. Candi sugar after that. There are plenty of Belgian notes here with both yeast and sugar. Some dry zest. Bitterness is very moderate. That fruit must be from hops but it almost seems like it is yeast sourced. Balance here is between an IIPA and the Belgian influences and it is amazingly well balanced.

This was shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. Poured a cloudy (After a bottle roll) amber-orange with a beige head. Nose of tropical fruit (mango) and some lime. Medium body and some alcohol in the mouth feel Flavor is tropical fruit, again mango with some citrus and spices, such as clove. The finish is bitter sweet. The warmer it gets the more the flavors show up. This is a Belgian IPA according to the description. I generally like this and my only complaint is just a tad too much alcohol burn.

Fresh bottle. Pours deep cloudy orange with little to no head. Aroma is grapefruit and other citrus, clove, fresh bread. Taste is mix of citrus flavors with caramel malt. Sweet and crisp, some spiciness. Little hop up front but not throughout. Interesting beer and an easy drinker.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Glimmering body. St able head with a soft aroma of citrus and Belgian malt. Flavor tends to be a little flat at times but overall a nice balanced semi sweet ale.
