It’s not a unique idea, but one that everyone on the Central Coast understands… Call something “805” and it means local. As a regional craft brewer we have always known that the closer the beer is to where it was brewed, the fresher it is. In fact since 1996 our brewery has been built on fresh, local beers for the Central Coast…. so we created a beer just for our locals in the “805”.

Hope you like it… FW

Pretty sure I slayed this at Tony Roma’s by DLand during a 45 minute pint crushing marathon. I know the Kings game was on and I know I had a Black Marlin warming to ensure zero downtime between switching beers. This was a killer review and a beer that must really really impressed me because my tasting notes consisted of the single word "Lame". So.. yea.

Mostly clear peachy orange pour with a small white head, lots of bubbles. Lively carbonation, tingly mouthfeel, decent viscosity, finishes really clean. Light floral aroma, sweet, a little sour lager scent too. Taste of lemon lime, some cantaloupe, circus peanuts, bit of noble metallic hops. Lackluster lighter beer.

Bottle at daks house, really kinda bad, surprised from firestone, grainy and malty, unbalanced sweetness making it difficult to drink

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is a sweet and fruity. Flavor is again a minor fruity with a bit of dry bready malt. The more you drink of this the more it becomes more flavorless. Not FW best by a long shot. Weak flavor and aroma. This could have been better.

Bottle pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aroma of fruit and honey. Taste is light and fruity but not at all sweet and syrupy.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with fizzy white head. Aroma is cereal and biscuit malts, light must, faint white grapes, and some floral notes. Flavor is dry and malty with just a hint of hop spice and some good light fruit esters. Light body and medium carbonation.

Bottle ours mandarin color with a vanishing head. Honey nose and and refreshing honey, biscuity palate, with a slight bitter finish. Overall, a nice beer under the right circumstances.
