TimE (1066), Tokyo, Japan Apr 19, 2006 Grassy sour lemon nose. Med-full malty sour mouth with some breadiness. Well balanced, light hop character. Midly bitter finish.
IslandHaole (1031), Onna-Son, Okinawa-Ken, Japan Nov 25, 2004 A light hazy yellow with a foamy white head. This had a thin layer of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. I’m not sure why they call this a "Light" Pils, I guess it’s the low (4.3%) ABV as compared to the normal 5%. This isn’t a tasteless brew that we have come to associate with the term "Light", it is a well balanced pils with a nice malt flavor and crisp bitter hoppiness. Quite nice!
