Countbeer (4042) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - APR 11, 2014
Bottle: served in a chouffe glass: Medium to bigger sized white foamy head on top of a clear yellow colored beer. Aromas of hops, some apricot, citrus, some (tea) herbs, some flowers. Typical but very decent. Flavours of apricot, tea herbs, hops, bitters, light citrus/lemon touch, some flowers, light yeast. Quite tasty! Aftertaste is a mix of hops, fruits, bitters, herbs and light flowers. Medium carbo, creamy light spiced mouthfeel, good medium bodied and a creamy texture. Nice beer, good hop tones present, easy drinkable,

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Crystal clear gold pour with thick super frothy pure white foam. Aroma of light citrusy and grassy hops, very fruity, nice herbal notes as well, pineapple. Taste is a slight letdown, bitter and a tad watery, slightly metallic even, not quite right. Palate is light, nice carbonation. Tremendous potential but somehow falls short, could perhaps benefit from not being filtered? Who knows.

Tsekouratos (109) - Nea Filadelfeia, Athens, GREECE - JAN 19, 2014
330 ml from Beer Factory, Athens Greece. yellow to light copper color with nice white head, one finger tall. Aromas of citrus, grass, some lemon and fruits, and slight caramel. Taste pretty much the same with fruits and citrus mostly, and some earthy notes on the back. And caramel?? Idk. Hoppy aftertaste, very nice. Light body with low to medium carbonation. A good Greek pale ale!!

Clear copper color, good cloudy white head. Grassy, yeasty, fruity nose. Light bodied. Grassy, a bit citrusy, spicey flavor. A bit papery with active carbonation. Basic ok pale ale.

(Tap, The Local Bar, Athens)
Restrained citrus-oriented hop aroma - juicy mandarins etc. Hazy orange with not much head.
Hops are fresh, something with needles. Good hop choice.
Not huge retronasals. Finish has plenty of residual hops. Ah, the owner reports that they are Saaz and Nelson Sauvin. Used well.
A session pale ale. Good bitter finish. Just the right sweetness and carbonation level.
Unusually, Phil did not share this.
